@fishinky365 no most airsoft pistols are different. the stinger p311 has different internals. the only thing that is the same about them is that they are both modeled after the 1911. although the stinger p311 is a great value at like 12 bucks. hope that helped!

@halo3gangster It is not made to, but if you cock the slide fully and then fiddle with it a bit, you can get the slide to clock. Its not secure though and can be lodged loose with a quick jolt.

@TKOverkill It can be made to lock, but its not supposed to and even a quick jerk of the hand can release the slide. Check previous comments for a description of how to do it.

@benanddawson55 Yes you can. But the hop-up on this gun is extremely weak since its a cheap gun. i recommend using .20's.

@daykotaskate The slide catch can be manipulated to hold the slide back but it can be jared loose with a quick shake. It takes a bit of fiddling with to get it to hold in place. If you need the slide catch to work for a movie prop, it will work, but its not something you can easily do by just pulling the slide back.

@gatorback65678 You must be refering to the TM Gas version. This is a lower end spring version. If you buy it in the U.S., it will come with an orange tip (its the law). The place you're viewing it from just decided to take it off.

@gabean98 The externals are full metal except for the grip. The internals are mostly plastic because metal spring internals aren't great unless you're talking about a high end sniper rifle shooting 450+

@HithardAirsoft it isnt meant to function but if you really absolutely have to have a working slide lock, you could ghetto rig it. You have to cock the gun and then push the slide lock out a little and then fiddle with the slide to get it all to catch, but it is possible.

@bhadz15 it lets cops and other people know that its an airsoft gun and not a real firearm. Its the law in the US for all airsoft guns to have orange tips when being transported.

@theBatman303 I recommend a GBB pistol instead. Spring pistols are only good for beginners learning the sport and figuring out if they like it and want to invest in better gun. I use a KWA Mark4 GBB pistol as my side arm.
