  • what an amazing vocal range...not to mention the emotion behind it! Sigh...

  • So upset. It's hard as heck to ear out this bass and I can't find any bass tabs for this OR changing.

  • Jesus, this band is amazing.

  • and i wish i had the guts to scream,

"Things arent always what they seem!"

  • I'd never break his heart, with lyrics and a face like that. Who could?! :)) love this song!

  • @makeupbytaradotcom i know if i had a chance to even be with him i would never do anything tio get him mad at me bcause of how awesome he is and then his sly grin he does in most of his songs is like to die for!!!!!!!!! <3 i love you Mikel!!!!!

  • Far left, watch his eyes at the beginning.

  • at an airborne toxic event show after the gig steven actually came up and talked to me and said that he saw me in the crowd and that i was the only person singing along <3

  • @chebeeanna LUCKY! :D

  • awww now the drummer has to walk all the way down to get his drum sticks :/

  • I swear, it's an addictive song!

  • This is probably on of the best music videos ever cheap zen beautiful and it's not overdone like a lot of modern music artists do, this restores my faith in modern music

  • This song puts me in the best mood.

  • This song puts me in the best mood.

  • this is shit

  • @fruenko no you are

  • Johnny Depp is playing the bass!

  • imagine walking on the street past that apartment... that would be the most awesome neighborhood

  • @cacaface302 not to burst your bubble, but there ARE a few asians in rock bands... the drummer chris guanlao from silversun pickups (another great band) is filipino.

but i totally agree, us asians have GOT to learn how to turn our skill with the violin and piano into shredding the viola like anna or playing rock like steven!

  • I saw him first in the video for Sometime Around Midnight and I thought he looked like Ryan Reynolds lol.

  • 3:19 " owe, who the hell dropped these drum.. oh shit!"

    love this band!!

  • I wonder if they're in the same room

  • He looks like a mix between robbi

e williams and Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon.

  • just bought thier itunes deluxe album wish there was more acoustic songs on there though and maybe some videos

  • I like this in spite of Pitchfork.

  • @sipentiumde pitchfork doesn't know what they're talking about half of the time. buti guess i'd never qualify as an indie rock snob because i actually ENJOY the music that i listen to...

  • they should do these again for the next album.

  • is it me or does mikel look kinda creepy in this vid?

  • I just found them, they are perfect, music that repeats over and over in your mind

  • I love this video, but like the rest, it doesn't compare to the on-CD version.

  • I'll eat my shoes if anyone can find a reason to dislike this band.

  • saw them last night for an "acoustic session" with a quartet playing. its funny how it started, everyone was kept sitting down for the first part then after the intermission, mike asked everyone to stand and rush in front then it turned all rock... the best performance ever...

  • I love how al their music videos are simple, they don't need any special effects or anything special, they just have great music:)

  • I started cracking up when the drummer dropped his sticks at the very end. I have no clue why, I just think that guy is hilarious. And Mikel (that's the singer's name, right?) just seems rather... charismatic. Especially in Does This Mean You're Moving On? the music video.

  • alot of their music reminds me of what i've been going through, it rally hits home. than god for this band!

  • good!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love how airboure toxic event incorporates an upright bass in their acoustic sets.

    very awesome.

    and upright bass wins :)

  • these are the best music videos. ever. i'm an authority on this. legally speaking, i've never seen a better set of music videos.

  • I just noticed this was uploaded on my birthday... lol

  • Okay, so my boyfriend showed me this band.. and I can honestly listen to every song this band makes. I love all of the acoustic ones...I just love this band so much =]

  • This works so much..and I thought that before I was potentially second best.....

  • one of my least favorite songs on the album but I LOVE IT

  • I completely agree!

  • haha fucken awesome... im happy i found a new band to make me listen to every freaken song they have!!!

  • this is awesome. lol. I love all these accoustic videos. there in the most random/beautiful/awesome places lol.

  • so good :o

  • Beyond amazing.

  • It would've been hilarious if everyone threw their instruments out the window at the end of the song. Great band indeed.

  • why would a musician choose to destroy a perfect instrument.

  • @vilhelm2 well the drummer just threw his brushes but yeah

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the simplicity of the music shows the magnitude of the lyrics and the power of his voice. whenever I play something like he does on the guitar, it sounds boring and empty. It's just 4 chords. But somehow, when they get together and he plays those 4 chords, the rest of the band comes in with some incredible additions and his lyrics top it all off with a captivating tone and story.

  • OMG EVERY SONG GETS BETTER!

  • I'd love to see the looks on people's faces as they walked by! Fantastic!

  • Me too, I'd probably freak out if I saw them XD

  • love daren taylor

  • wtf lol

    2:02

noa takes out one of those stck things lol

  • wtf lol thats tite

  • the bow?

  • yes the bow lol :]

  • Called a bow :) Hahahaha

  • thanks bro i remember lol :]

  • i just love how daren just dropped his sticks at the end!

  • refreshing

  • going to see them in Cleveland <3

  • i love their music and their videos are sooo cool!

    <3

  • These guys sound like the next gen Violent Femmes. If you like these guys, you'll LOVE the Femme's older stuff from the 1980's.

  • ha, I'm going to see them this summer when they come to Belgium =)

    they are awesome ^-^

  • I lovee the way you guys are positioned in each video, hah.

    Love you guys! <3(:

  • yo anyone know where to get chords for acoustics??:)

  • it looks like the verse is something like this(capo 2)

    C to a G chord like this

    b-1

    g-0

    d-0

    a-2

E-3 then an a minor to that g

    hope that helps a little

  • These acoustic sessions are too cute, hahaha.

  • Awesome violin/guitar hook.

  • me encanta esta banda !!!!!!!

  • What a nice, cool, creative and talented group!!! Please visit the South SF Bay Area.

  • i saw them live like a week and a half ago and had the chance to meet them all and talk for a while after. :) they're all amazing down to earth fun people. anna is so so sweet and gave us a 1 minute lesson in crowdsurfing! noah is so so happy and excited and daren is really funny and silly. i didn't get a chance to talk to steven much but he was really nice too. and mikel is really friendly and down to earth and nice...he like my tshirt. ^.^ what an excellent band.

  • your so lucky!

  • go see them. it is a must! :D

  • This is a more traditional-styled song, and I enjoy it more than the previous two.

OK, have you guys been listening to the Kingston Trio? It shows in a good way!

  • Saw them last week in Glasgow, third time they have been here in the past year, can't wait to see them again at T in the Park in July.Really tight band, hope they deliver a second album as great as the first to claim the the greatness they deserve! All Hail TATE

  • AHH! i love all of these acoustics.

  • This is the freakin best band ever!!!! I saw them in concert and they totally rocked it!! Mikel is HOT. I'm in love with him! Does anyone know where to buy the acoustic versions??

  • In a window? Jeeze these guys sound awsome and are really creative! They seem like fun people to hang around with.

  • i love how his eyes shift from left to right in the beginning :)

  • This is my favourite song from them, and it sounds AWESOME acoustically!

  • danmit, i cant wait until there huge so they'll tour, but for some reason i can imagine them way better in a small venue, i'm torn!

  • I agree...

i would like to see them too on tour but i can't imagine them so huge and famous...

  • Saw them in a packed venue with about 100 people, and it was the best small show I've ever been to. Maybe even the best ever. And I had only heard them the week before the show.

  • SO jealous

  • oh wait it's a viola..........

  • Her name is Hannah i believe. It's violinist....When you see her in concert its amazing she gets real into it... so does the Bassist haha

  • i think her name is Anna, actually... she's wickedcool!

  • yeah her name is Anna

  • I rather like this wee accoustic sessions that the band have done.

    Excellent work!

  • haha... this is a little goofy, but i still like it...

  • Ok, forgive me i dont know the cute voilinist (spelling?) name but the way she moves her shoulder to the beat when she is not playing is really cute....Great band gonna see them this month!!

  • It's a violin, so she's a violinist. Please learn to spell, I feel embarrassed for you.

As for her name it's Anna Bulrook, I do believe.

  • LOL, sooo sorry my friend. Thanks for feeling embarrassed for me.......I will strive to meet your standards in the future!

  • Folks can you belive that there are actually people who think shite like The Jonas Brothers are actually music? I mean this band here IS MUSIC!

  • holy hell, this is unholy heaven? (amazing)

  • its almost like a painting that has musicians playing in it has anyone realized that? just like the one in the boat

  • who was singing i couldn't tell every one had there mouth open

  • Mikel Jollet is the singer, he's in the black on the left. Next to the bass player.

  • I honestly don't think i can say how much i love this band and what a breath of fresh air they are from the generic pop bands which seem to fill the UK charts these days.

Song writing with honesty and passion tinted with humour and sadness. They truly are brillant and like most of us on here i think they're acoustic versions are better than their album tracks because they can show more of their raw passion for playing.

Definitely going to see them while they are in the UK.

  • Im with you absolutely class i managed to see them in carlisle and they are amazing

  • Ever since I saw you guys on Conan I have been obsessed. Thank god I didn't hear you earlier or I would've had to wait even longer for your cd. You guys have to come out with an acoustic album as well. Keep making beautiful music. You should put anna closer to the front of the videos though. I might ask her to marry me one day! Gorgeous and a phenomenal musician, just as you all are.

  • you guys are a video to behold--very original setting! love the song....i hope you guys get the exposure you deserve, saw you on Conan just about an hour ago, been checkin out your videos since....will buy your cd. go on Leno and Letterman soon!

  • Why is Robert Downey Jr. their drummer?

  • just found you folks and all I can say is....."Its been too long since I've heard music so sincere and free!"

  • you guys are amazing...

  • Very creative! And I love that the drummer just casually chucks his brushes out the window at the end. :)

  • Very nice sound, and I love the framing. Great potential, keep knocking em' dead!
