Is this a rev limiter ,I thought these cars came with rev limiters I dont understand these things I would think either transbrake or fanning clutch or something else I thought these things were for highly tuned high horsepower turbo charged engines so they wouldnt blow there engines to smitherines not street mchines .please answer .???

Nice... I have mine set at 3400 in my 03 DSG cobra just to fuck with ricers around town haha... But at the track I launch at 2600, easing the clutch out on 315/35 555R tires...

Since you're running a full slick out back you could definitely leave the line 2-stepping at 3400-4000 if you don't clutch drop.. Mabye more, idk

@rotaryturbo88 You can set it to launch at any RPM. Depending on traction, 2000 RPM might be enough. But, you can adjust it anywhere between 1000 and 14000 RPM.

@typerkush Launch control is not bad for the motor when used in limited amounts. There are several cars that ship with this feature from the factory now.

However, it is not recommended for use with cars with cats because of the unburnt fuel that is released into the exhaust.
