24:29 I've got an MP15 myself with the quad rail. Expensive, but a bargain when you consider that it came with the quad rails, six Magpul 30-rounders, collapsing stock and fold-down sights. Plus, I add it to the SW collection which includes 686+, 41 & 8" 27. I put a Leupold VX-III 1.5-5X20 scope on the AR.
I have a removable glass roof on my VW station wagon. It would be cool to shoot out of that, although I don't see that ever happening. Besides, its not exactly an off-road vehicle.

Tell everyone what your military specialty codes have been during your service. I know what the truth is, but I doubt many of your viewers know, but would be enlightened if they did. These guys are out of their tree with the gear. Who will they be fighting? I am a survivalist. The basic shotgun is a handy tool to shoot deer, birds, and pests. It uses minimal resources to operate. These guys have no chance in an actual war of attrition. Do you see how much of a clusterfuck pontential this approach has? Take a look at Iraq and Afghanistan. Most soldiers get wiped out with improvised junk.

hey for the guy with the AR.15 problem when you were slowed down tryin to use the charging hammer an then went to slappin the paddle..magpul industry's has what they call a B.A.D lever it connects to the paddle an runs down the reciever an into the trigger guard its what I run on my rifle an when i speed load it comes in handy it might shave off a second or 2 when your runnin n gunnin during practice but in a real life situation those last 2 seconds could be crucial,,just thought id pass that on

you do realize an M16 is just a 20 inch ar-15 with selective fire? and an M4 is Ar-15 that has a 14.5 inch barrel with selective fire, there just about the same weapons unless said AR-15 is piston driven
Just as a note, the safety on an AK was never intended to be run like we use safety devices in the west. A lot of that comes from Jeff Cooper and his work with 1911s- on target off safe off target on safe. The AK was intended to be taken off safety before the stuff flies and then left off safety until the situation has calmed and you don't see an immediate need for the rifle again.
I had this conversation with my father and we could never come to a final conclusion. The scenario is that of Red Dawn the movie, to have to retreat with your family or by yourself and bring what you would need to survive as well as fight a guerrilla against the Russians. What guns would you choose when you must survive by your self and also when you are with family or a group of Sheep Dogs? We have thought about this lots of time and have never been able to find the "winning" load out

I filed the bump a little on my AK safety, made it move smooth and easy. I can actually operate it with my right thumb from fire position.

@jaeger500 it depends whether its a AK-47 (7.62mm) or an AK-74(5.45mm)... if it is imitating the gun it actually looks like... then its a 5.45mm

you do realize an M16 is just a 20 inch ar-15 with selective fire? and an M4 is Ar-15 that has a 14.5 inch barrel with selective fire, there just about the same weapons unless said AR-15 is piston driven

Just as a note, the safety on an AK was never intended to be run like we use safety devices in the west. A lot of that comes from Jeff Cooper and his work with 1911s- on target off safe off target on safe. The AK was intended to be taken off safety before the stuff flies and then left off safety until the situation has calmed and you don't see an immediate need for the rifle again.

I had this conversation with my father and we could never come to a final conclusion. The scenario is that of Red Dawn the movie, to have to retreat with your family or by yourself and bring what you would need to survive as well as fight a guerrilla against the Russians. What guns would you choose when you must survive by your self and also when you are with family or a group of Sheep Dogs? We have thought about this lots of time and have never been able to find the "winning" load out

movement with out fire is suicide and fire without movement is a waste of ammo over all nice video most people will never pratice this on their own but it is always a good thing to know keep up good work and you probaly could have hit the targets with the AK brass it throws them far as hell lol
