When Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 15, where he spoke about the "last trump", the Revelation was not yet given to mankind. So, neither Paul, nor his audience, would have any way to know what the words "last trump" meant if they were referring to something in Revelation.

Therefore the corinthinians would NOT have any idea what Paul was talking about including Paul himself! Revelation was 30 years into the future!

@mrfellowship I know there are many trumpetsto be blown at the feasts(by people) when Christ comes back, I am going to refer specifically to 7 (maybe 8). If you believe in the rapture you have 3 choices pre/mid/post trib, that's where your trumpet is going to be. Since there are 6trumpets in Rev 8:6,9:13 is obvious none is the last. We then have the 7th at 11:15 which if you read it is talking about His coming bringing reward and judgement (the Day of the Lord)

To believe this of course, you need to realize that the order of the seals, bowls and trumpets are not written chronological (unless you believe that certain events are going to repeat ex. the moon is going to be darken a couple of times) etc.
