  • Can you send me the citation for this?  All I can find is that is is a blender's credit (which of course benefits the biodiesel producer in the end) or a credit for the small producer.

  • Isn't the $1 tax credit a blender's credit (not producers?)? The RIN is attached at production so it can be separated and doesn't have to move with the biodiesel that is sold to the blender? (this last one is totally a question!)

  • @bbwsmin It used to be. But it can now be taken by the producer or the blender. That said, unless Congress performs a miracle, the credit is set to expire at the end of 2011.
