This is why the north will always be better than the south - no one ever made 'it's grim down south'! It may be grim up north but at least it isn't boring. Aside from London, the south of england is soulless and dire, nothing good ever came out of it culturally.
@Murmeltier616 Living somewhere usually wrongly labelled as "north" by ignorant southerners (we're smack bang in-between thanks), I'd be inclined to agree with you... prefer to live above the M62 than inside the M25.
But my definition of "grim" would include "soul destroyingly dull and boring" as well, I'm afraid! One of the reasons why the term is a misnomer.
You missed out Kirkby, Kearsley (which is a suburb of Bolton), Pendlebury, Prestwich, Preston, York and Skipton on your list of places in the text above.
Assuming we go back to pre 1974 when Barrow (in Cumbria) was a part of Lancashire it means my home county and town doesn't even get a mention, nor does Cumbria's only city (Carlisle) get said.
Had the JAMMS got something against Cumbria?
Still, it's a classic in it's own right (of which I have on 7" & cd single) that shames 2011 music.
It's July 1st 2011 and I just discovered this song. I was listening to KLF before they went somewhat commercial with Arista's White Room. Never-the-less it introduced them to a global audience. Thanks for uploading.
Been studying Michael Tsarion and Joseph Farrell's work lately. Nice to learn the truth about our world finally. Some of the history reminded me of the reference to Mu. Man, these guys had it down.
This may be too much to ask but do you have "Jerusalem on the moors"? I have it on cd single but it was left in a car that sorta went on fire and it got a bit bent.
