Yes, I found out the hard way, I forget to turn bones off to move the joints, as I am more familiar with skelegons, but I like baby joints better..thanks for your help
I love your tutorial, hope I am not too late in asking this question. How do you put a mesh on a character once you done the joints. I am having trouble doing this. for instance, the leg, how do I combine the joint with anything in layout?
@MultiWolfproductions I'm not sure what you mean. Bones have to be parented to objects by default. If you mean how do you add bones once you already have a skeleton, then your best bet is turning bones off (in the Setup tab), adding the bones, then activating all the bones by selecting them and pressing "r".
Can someone help me plz? When I have press SHIFT + R on a bone I cant make it bigger ( higher and longer) I only can make it longer why? Sorry bad english I know :/
I will post one soon, but since the tools are so new I haven't had a chance to do much with them yet. What I can say so far is that the new system is far more powerful and easier to use than Saslite.
Hey Brian. I love your tutorials, but the best thing you've done for me here is announce that 9.5 is out. I've got characters in desperate need of hair, and Dan Ablan's tutorials on 9.0 hair are a few chapters ahead of my studies. I had 9.3, but I've been hearing that 9.5 would have easier hair, so I just logged onto my NewTek account, and they had a download waiting for me, no extra charge. I guess the upgrade is free to anyone with 9.Anything.

I can't do that since there's a 10 minute limit on Youtube. Just pause, rewind, replay until you get what's going on. Easy.

Thanks. Newtek's documentation on the new tools is pretty sketchy.
