are you looking at a script? you play great marimba solos, that have multiple notes, but you seem to keep, looking at a, script to say bunch of stuff that lots of, um, YOUTUBEE viewers, don't care much about all the local stuff, great, move on..... but nice, hey I stumbled upon 517 views, NY it doesn't matter we all play percussion, you should um, uh, just, uh, be just, uh, just show and play, great, yeah, in the past, yeah, Stockhausen! yaya
Totally bummed that I'm not going to make it this year! As for favorites, I'll +1 to everything spg50208 said, and add that Wed. is always my favorite day - I LOVE being exposed to new music. Also very cool to see the people behind the "names" - I love how the percussion community is so open and inclusive. We're all just a bunch of drummers hanging in a room at PASIC!
It's difficult to narrow down one thing about PASIC, and for me it is actually two things. The first is the spreading of knowledge that can make us all better players/educators/businesspeople/musicians and the second is getting to see world-class performances every single day. On a side note...the exhibit hall is fun, but I wish it wasn't so overrated. It has become the focus of too many players who miss out on the real PASIC experience.
where are your late 2011 early 2012 videos? I'll comment on them.
