    Love this song!!!

  • best song ever, who would be in a remake, i'd say williams, selby, allen, robertson and best of all... RORY MCLEOD, lol

  • @alexander1999922 no you need RONNIE, HENDRY, ROBERTSON, WILLIAMS, TRUMP & DAVIS (YES I WOULD STILL INCLUDE STEVE SO I COULD MAKE FUN OF THE 85 FINAL)

  • @MAVERICK1SASR I would have Ronnie, Murphy, Hendry, WIlliams, davis and Higgins

  • hard luck judd

  • like if your watching this cause you saw it on the world championship final :D

  • @RoryL108 like if you are older than 12 and remember this from the 80's and actually know who chas and dave are!

  • @thehoff1982 stfu and be happy more people are being shown music like this and wouldnt you rather i listen to this then any bieber crap !!!

  • @RoryL108 actually, i would rather you stfu and learn to have some respect! bieber? no-one should like bieber! are you saying that a kkk member should prefer racism to rape? be quiet and enjoy a great era that you were born after! oh and btw, most young pricks like you don't aprecieate/deserve legendary performances like this - stick to book party or space face you twat!

  • @thehoff1982 im agreeing with you that its great music !!!! but im saying that you shouldnt be so ignorant as to think that just because i wasnt born in the 80's i dont appreciate music like this !! your an ass ...

  • @RoryL108 Just cos were born in the 80's doesn't ean you can't appreciate music fro early era's stick with what you like and as for what anyone says to you f 'em

  • i only heard of it watchin the match

  • This song is amazing and clever. Always loved it :D

    Big snooker fan

  • cringe at Dennis Taylors accent, make ya proud to be irish haha

  • Yes because this is an ultimate really bad song... Far worse than all that shit they put on nowadays. TMF = The Music's Fucked

  • If Alex Higgins would have been in this this would be awesome

  • @DavidSloanVideos it was organised by Barry Hearn so it was onlt the guy managed by him in it but yes. It woulda been legend if hewas

  • 17 people got blinded by the bald head of Willie Thorne.

  • @1KenBarlow make that 18

  • love this song, i know all the words

  • i bet even lennon couldnt write a song as good as this

  • Comment removed

  • this song is fucking awesome!!!!

  • Pot the reds then, skrew back For the yellow green brown blue pink and black

  • this song is awesome.

  • Best song ever.

  • Terrible !

  • Why does Steve Davis remind me of Rodney in the first few Only Fools and Horses?

  • @luke140495 I think exactly the same. It's absolutely uncanny.

  • These cockney geezers are great.

  • The days of Alex, Dennis, Steve and Steven, the heyday of Snooker in my opinion.

  • @MatthewDavidParr I think you have to include Ronnie in that too. Of course, Ronnie has suffered in the past, but when he is focused and set, it takes a very good player to beat him. Despite the struggles of Ronnie, he is just a fantastic player to watch.

  • @iago18958 The person who mostly beats Ronnie is Ronnie. If he goes in with the right mind set wathcing him play is just stunning, but if he's in the wrong frame of mind he's near enough lost before he takes a single shot.

    And I love this song!!!!

  • @iago18958 I suppose that the standard of the Snooker being played, in many ways is getting better and better, but the spirit of snooker was best in the 80s. Players would lark about and have a drink and a cigarette while playing. It was treated like a fun game, but serious at the same time. But you are right when talking about the ability of the players. I think even Steve Davis in his prime would struggle against an up-and-coming Ding Junhui or Judd Trump.

  • pot, the red, and screw back, for the yellow green brown blue pink and black. !!!

  • Aboslutely brilliant I still have this on a 45rpm you couldn't imagine any of the Footballers being involved in a song that takes the piss out of them but this crew where up for a laugh esp Terry Grithiffs watched him in a trick shot competition cracking jokes as he set up the tricks he was great!!!

  • @Waylander1977 Total agree i thought i was the only who thought that

  • Remember when this came out awesome song!!! as for the Moron who thinks the only good thing about snooker is that TWAT Ronnie O'Sulivan get a brain he's barely better then his father and uncle who are rapists and murderers

  • @Waylander1977 That's a bit harsh. Say what you like about him, he's still a quality player.

  • Sounds like a song for kids in Kindergarden! what a boring sport with boring people! Only O Sullivan brought some madness and fun to the game!

  • me snooper loopy

  • ripping the bald guy, bet he was devastated

  • Willie won the 1985 Mercantile Credit Classic!

  • catchy crap.

  • Tony Meo. Bit of a fruity sort.

  • THIS SONG IS BETTER THAN EVERY SINGLE SONG RELEASED BY JAY Z, PUFFY AND ALL THE OTHER WATERED DOWN CLOWNS WHO ARE SUPPOSEDLY "HIP". END OF LOL.

  • 15 people don't know what order to pot their balls.

  • @EdBrody right on!

  • i wonder what the sounds of ronnie, hendry, davis, robertson, white and williams would sound like recording a modern day version of this song

  • Ultimate in cheese!

    *likes*

  • Great song when Snooker was at its heyday

  • My dad bought this on 7inch in 86. The record scratched and it played as Me Nuts Are We! Great song too!

  • great memories i drive round town with this song on full blast trying to pull chicks! for some reason it dont work what am i doing wrong? haha chas n dave rule

  • Any else think Terry Griffiths is a bit weird?

  • This is in the same program as The Smurfs, Steps & Timmy Mallet wat a disgrace!

  • by calling this a bad song all people have done is made it more popular song A- it would be A+ if it had NEIL ROBERTSON C'MON AUSSIE C'MON

  • 14 people have gone loopy.

  • First single I ever bought. Special edition with that year's World Championship results on the back, no less. Classic!

  • "Really bad songs"? Bugger off.

  • Best song Ever

  • gaawwgooollllllsss lol goad shot straight in his gob

  • CHORUS

Snooker loopy, nuts are we, me and him and them and me,

We'll show you what we can do with a load of balls and a snooker cue.

Pot the reds, then screw back, for the yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black.

Snooker loopy, nuts are we, we're all snooker loopy.

Now old Meo, we all know's got loads of dapper suits,

London-bred and he keeps his head, though he's got Italian roots,

Emotional when he keeps his cool, till he reaches the final,

But whether he wins or whether he don't: (T

  • lol meo...i always pipe me eyeballs

  • 'Cause I wear these Gaaaawgulls!! :D

  • It's awesome

  • no. 4 in the charts, no. 1 in our hearts :D

  • The memories, ah yes those were the days. oh no not again wheres them pills

  • lol

  • There were going to be more songs, apparently. But most of them wanted to do a similar follow up but Davis wanted to go into a more free style jazz direction and Thorne wanted to tap into some more West Coast sounds.

Well, it just didn't work out in the end.

  • "ultimate 100 really bad songs" ? Don't take the piss - fkin awesome song!

  • @Widgetas

Exactly. How does this qualify as a really bad song? Better than most of the shit in the charts these days.

  • ALL THE STUPID COMMENTS , TAKE AWAY FROM THE FACT THAT THIS SONG IS JUST A BIT OF FUN .... RIP ALEX HIGGINS ............

  • Meo Taylor and Thorne should be shot for them jumpers they are wearing.

  • just for u bro hahaha

  • I can't hear this song without wanting to take loads of drugs

  • odd thought but snookers popularity had been on the slide since this song was released coincidence or what

  • GAY

  • I can't remember if this was a charity single or not - one would hope so

  • best player off em all missing..........Higgy, RIP

  • i nearly got stabbed for puttin this on at the pub

  • @dafspeed sorry to hear that mate. at least you've got taste!!

  • @dafspeed lol its a great song.

  • i love that song

  • R.I.P. Alex Higgins

  • @MrStonecold69

Well said Mate,It,s ironic that Alex was not a membr of Matchrom and therefor not on the video. But in His day He would have beaten all the snooker stars in this tape!

  • @MrStonecold69 Why? He's not in the five...

  • i wish there was another snooker song :) or re-done with all the players in the tournaments from 2010/11

  • AntiFanBoy1 has dissed almost every single snooker video especailly ronnie o'sullivan, he needs to keep himself to himself..

  • such a shame chas and dave have decided to call it a day

  • @AntiFanBoy1 are you from the USA

  • @AntiFanBoy1 no i dont think its funny, i think its good u stupid fag.

  • Top shout there. Classic video. Can't beat a bit of Chas 'n' Dave.

  • To Alex

  • rip to alex higgins who just died

  • @AntiFanBoy1 Shut up you dirty, faggot NAZI BASTARD, no-one asked for your opinion so shut you big fat mouth and go outside, lose your virginity and get a life.

  • @AntiFanBoy1

shut the fuck up you dumb bastard

  • i absolutley love dennis taylor, absolute legend!!!

  • THIS WAS MY NAN'S FAVO SONG. XX

  • @AntiFanBoy1 your a c##t this song is propa class.

  • The Steve Davis verse is brilliant. Damn that black ball!

  • These were the golden days of snooker, when snooker halls opened up everywhere. Very much part of the 1980s. As indeed are Chas and Dave, and THFC winning anything worth winning.

  • I guess Willie Thorne & Tony Meo must be happy to be included in this bunch of snooker winners - considering they won f*ck all.

Great bit of fun from Chas & Dave though.

  • @YCSMusic neither did terry griffiths so basically only davis and taylor lowered themselves to appearing in this crock of shite.

  • @venezualantree Pretty sure Terry was world champion some years ago.

  • @YCSMusic apparently you are right, my bad! meo won the british open apparently whilst thorne won the classic, i think in fairness they were probably both great players...but in that era it was so much harder than say the early 90s the competition was fierce for sure.

  • @venezualantree You're probably right there, I also remember Meo winning doubles titles teamed up with Davis, all good players in their own way I suppose but Steve Davis stands out from that era.

  • @YCSMusic The reason why all these players were chosen as they were all managed by Barry Hearn, hence the line 'he's got the rest of us signed up'

  • @luke140495 the irony being that when he says "...he don't care who wins this year cause 'he's got the rest of us signed up' actually Joe Johnson won it that year and he wasn't managed by Hearn...more classic 80's clips over at my channel !! :)

  • The National Anthem of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

  • great song :)

does anyone know/have the song "Boss of the black" ?

have heard it somewhere but cant find it.

  • The Willie Thorne bit is brilliant

  • Brilliant...makes me really laugh...everyone takes the mick...but they still sing along ...great !

  • Cooooooooooooooool!

  • Oi oi, what's this doing in a list of bad songs?!

Eardrops for Mr TMF man please. And a pen, whilst we're at it. You're gonna sit there, and we ain't leaving 'til you come up with something better. Phone the wife, tell her to keep your dinner warm. Cheeky, talentless, jumped up little..... I'm gonna explode. I'm outta here.

  • @AntiFanBoy1 you really are asking for a smack in the mouth.

  • @09hysteria are you gonna punch him through your computer? you might end up needing a new monitor.

  • the old ones are the best

  • If they remade this song today, which five players would they use?

My five would probably be O'Sullivan, Higgins, Selby, Murphy and Doherty.

  • @athull08 i reckon they would still have davis and taylor, but they would probably include john higgins, o'sullivan (if he could last more than a few minutes without stropping like a baby and walking off!) and dot or carter. they could get ding to do some robotics - he acts like an emotionless machine so he would probably be quite good.

  • @thehoff1982 Three things I disagree with there. First, they wouldn't use Taylor because he's retired. Second, I have to disagree with what you said about O'Sullivan. Third, Ding is not always emotionless. 2007 Masters final. He wasn't exactly emotionless then (understandably).

And also, I still think they would have to include Selby and Doherty - both great characters.

  • @athull08 retired or not , taylor is a great personality, but how can you disagree over o'sullivan? come off it! last year he walked out in the middle of a match and drove home, he's been known to snap cues and all kinds! he's the greatest player ever when it comes to ability, but his attitude does tend to let him down. as for ding, great player, but why the poker face?

  • @thehoff1982 Well, you're right about some things with O'Sullivan. I am a huge fan of his, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything he says or does. (it was actually 4 years ago, not last year, but that doesn't matter).

But what I meant was, I don't think his behaviour is down to plain childishness, there's obviously much more to him than that. I am not making excuses for him, I'm just saying what I think.

p.s. I still don't think they'd use Taylor because they've already had him.

  • @athull08 they are all great. it is a priviledge to watch the likes of o'sullivan in our li
