It would be great to watch this voice, this TALENT, unfold on American Idol. I suspect the judges would be sitting there thinking, "WTF, we already know who wins, how do we make this appear to be a competition from this point forward?! Seriously, WTF?!?!"
Nothing moves me like this video does. The emotion he puts in his performance is just incredible and touches me deep in my soul. He is even an inspiration for my own performances as a poet. I really hope one day we will hear more of him...!!

I would be a great shame if only the 3 known videos of this incredibly talented young treble singer exist. I would hope and pray that somewhere someone has a studio recording that they are just waiting to release as this kid had one the finest treble voices I have ever heard.

Think about it: this is a Youtube video (mono) recorded by a "guy with a camera," so to speak, and it's still so freakishly brilliant!

Billy was very good, but to my ears he falls substantially below Eugeny's level, as demonstrated here. By the way, I'm curious as to exactly what you mean by "the sound was very 2 strong." Peace.

I found out this song is entitled "Le Monde Est Stone" or "The World Is Stone." You can easily Google the lyrics. It's a heartbreaking song, and makes Eugeny's performance here all the more amazing.
Another thing that's heartbreaking is this: how such an incredible talent just seems to have disappeared, how little remains (or so it seems), and how little we know of him. If anyone has more information, please share it!

His voice is not only wonderful, but he also has this way of singing, the way he's standing and moving, he conveys something both fragile, sensitive and powerful. Take care you all.
it's intriguing listening to him hitting those soprano c notes. he is the BEST of the BEST. some adults do not have that type of range of a voice. he's just magnificent.

This is the best voice I've ever heard, period. The more I listen to him, the more I appreciate his incredible range (for example the high note at 3:23 and the low at 3:58) and purity of voice, and all the subtle nuances that are easy to miss if you listen just a few times. I've heard other great operatic singers, but as impressive as they are they're missing the sweetness that only a boy treble can provide, and no one else I've heard provides that quality in such abundance as does Eugeny.
Clearly his turning his back on the audience should not, in any way, be misconstrued as a 'slight' to the audience. It was obviously choreographed for dramatic effect. Someone else pointed out that it appeared to be something that one might see in a movie. I think that is a good observation. The boy is a remarkable talent and appears to possess everything necessary to warrant his being much better known throughout the world. Good luck, Eugeny!
His voice is divine. He looks like an angel. He is aware about his talent and he has a noble posture. He is very, very likable. I like him even when he is turning his back on the audience...He deserves 10 stars!
The most stunning boys voice I have ever heard. Evidently he is Ukranian not Russian. This song is in French but his other two are in Ukranian. I must admit though the back to the audience is not in good taste. But with his voice he can do anything he wants, I won't care.
Walking away with his back turned during the music section was a very beautiful scene, like an actor would do onstage... a very nice touch in this case. It portrays comtemplation, not any lack of showmanship. No bad JuJu.
