This is such a great game. I remembre playing this on my AMD 486-DX4 120MHz computer with a Cirrus Logic 2Mb Video card. Unfortunatelly i could only run the game in 320x240, but it was still fun :)

Amazing game, amazing franchise. I remember when I bought this and played the living shit out of it haha, with my friends too. One of the best 2D platformers ever. Back when Epic's games were still MEGAgames, and everything didn't have to be GRIMDARK. I miss the old Epic. Jazz, Tyrian, One Must Fall, hell, I even loved Jill of the Jungle. they should revive the series by making a JJ3(being 2D) and im actually 15 years but i played this game(JJ2) like 5 or 6 years ago saw it with my friend at a CD shop we thought it is cool and i bought it and i still have the CD and the game and its still awesome as ever the should make a JJ3(even though i havent played JJ1 yet) oh and this music as always is kickass im glad they decided to leave it for devons second form it kicked ass in the level and it kicked ass at the final boss

@Darkrai1337 actually not combined it wouldnt make sense if spazz was playable in JJ1 part and JJ1 had different physics from JJ2 so its impossible what i said is more like a "Jazz Jackrabbit HD collection" containing JJ1 and JJ2(as their own respective games) remaked(with nothing changed) in glorious HD then if succesful they might make JJ3(in 2D none of that crappy 3D stuff and with physics and gameplay similar to JJ2 though more advanced and a hopefully removed Lori i wouldnt want her in JJ3)

You play the Jazz or the Spazz charachter - and then you just gonna run FAST, shoot monsters, collect carrots, coins and diamonds, beat the bosses and just have a lot of fun - and the music is so awesome in the whole game - love it! :D

And dont forget the amazing 2 player system - the best I've ever tried.

Anyway, I think The Secret Files expansion-pack thingy added a female playable character Lori, who was a mix between Jazz and Spaz. She was cute. ^^

yeah she was,she could slow down her fall with ears (proppeler ears) just like jazz and she could hit things with down + shoot, just like spaz but her down + shoot attack had shorter range,also the expansion added new episode.i have all JJ2 expansions,i finished secret files and other normal episodes and christmas episode

Well, there was a Jazz Jackrabbit 3 being made but, with all the 3D shooters that were available at the time, it likely would have gotten lost in the crowd. -_-'

Still, the series was fun while it lasted (thanks especially to Jazz 2's Creation Station).

In fact, I'm hoping that this game, the Secret Files expansion and the original Jazz (including the bonus and X-Mas levels) can reappear as a 'Complete' compilation for the fans.

Perhaps Epic and 'Good Old Games' could help fulfill that wish?
