  • Nice bike! Where did you get the lay down license plate holder / brand? I want one. Thanks

  • @todparent Thanks. I bought it off of the J&P Cycles catalog.

    jpcycles.com/product/7110293

  • @slpybuldog thanks! although yours looks more like the Milwaukee Twins Curved License plate kit # 3400700.

  • @todparent also check out this link: jpcycles.com/catalog/2009harleycatalog/?catalogpage=354&section=06+lighting

  • Oh okay, the forward controls fooled me.

  • Is that a wide glide or a super glide

  • @mksalgado Its an 09' Super Glide.

  • Sorry man, I'll take my head for a shit. I didn't have the sound turned up. Awsome bike too.

  • @GhstRidR81 Thanks man.

  • Hey bloke, sweet hog. What typa seat you runnin there? Cheers,

    Moffs

  • Hot bike mag has a speedo in the mirror set up cleans up the bike real nice I figure if ur gonna spend money make it look sick as fux

  • @68lujan Thanks. good idea. I'll take that into consideration.

  • Smokin! Nice ride!

  • @QU13TM4N Thanks man.

  • So...did u bottom out or not? Sweet ride!!

  • @cw8307 No. I've never bottomed out with the slammer kit. I have it at the lowest setting it rides real good. Thanks for the compliment. My next mod will be a speedo relocation. I'll post a video when i do.

  • @slpybuldog Cool good luck with the speedo. Could you maybe get a tank off eBay for a Street Bob or FXDC that has the integrated speedo? Then sell your tank to pay for it. It would be a good winter project. Just an idea I guess. The speedo is the main reason I considered a FXDC over a FXD but I ended up getting the Street Bob so issue resolved. Good luck and keep posting vids for us!

  • @cw8307 You're right. That speedo on the FXD is a burden. I was gonna buy the Street Bob as well. I got a real good deal on the FXD that I couldn't pass up. I've considered buying a different tank, but I found a good fix ( speedo Relocation Kit for Dynas) from Joker Machine. I like the way it looks on the Sportsters. Thanks, I'll keep posting vids.

  • Ur bike is fuxing nice I now know what my next mod is thanx bro

  • @68lujan Thanks man!!

  • Did you have to lower your forks at all to make sure you had enough clearance at the top??

  • @skygod23 The Forks were already lowered from the Burly Slammer Kit I installed. However, I don't think it needs to be Lowered for the apes.

  • I assume you had to buy new longer brake and clutch cables?? What length did you buy?...Im thinking of putting 12" chubby apes on mine.

  • @skygod23 I had to buy longer brake cables. I was able to get away with the stock clutch cable. However, it fits snug. I will probably change it in the future. If you are going with 12' Chubbys, I'm not sure the length you will need. Wild One can help you. Just tell them your year and model. wild1inc.com

  • Nice looking bike and it sounds great too.

  • @bubbass6969 Thanks!! We're having 60 degree weather here in the North East (February). I road today. Its awesome (except for some potholes, lol). Thanks again for the compliment.

  • @slpybuldog I was able to get out for a few hours as well. It always feels great to ride this time of year, but it's just a teaser.
