Battlefield was the first game to bring realistic sniping. i remember waiting on the edge of the map in 1942 and taking my time and lineing up my shots. then BF2 came out and thats when shit got serious. i recently started playing 2142 and its alright but my internet connection sucks now

Spawn camping is DEFENDERS in attackers base. What do you suggest I do? Let them spawn and NOT shoot till they get close to the bomb site?

Im very good at sniper and sometimes I manage 25 kills and 2 or 3 deaths but your video taught me some nice tricks, i like the way you switch to your handgun even at long range, its very clever cause the handgund is already centered at the target, instead of going for a second shot and waiting for reload. Your overall use of the handgund is what makes you much better than me :) Great shooting!

Try sniping half of a match, then try using an assault rife or LMG/SMG the other half of the game, I bet you will have done better the non-sniper half of the match. If sniping didn't require leading, it would require much less skill, but it still requires skill. You have one shot to kill someone before you have to reload and end up getting killed, plus you have to limit yourself to certain spots of the map whereas if you don't snipe you can go anywhere.

Well, your OK but your not helping your team much.

For example, at 0:35 you took TOO LONG to kill that enemy. He knifed your teammate sniper and THEN you took him out. If you were more skilled you could have gotten the running headshot and saved your teammates life.

Your not taking concealment seriously either, which is probably why you cut out the deaths. Hiding a little better would prevent you from getting killed much more.

You have a ghillie suit, use it.

I think you're being a bit too harsh on him. I personally thought he was pretty good for someone who just got the game. And obviously he's not gonna get skilled as soon as he picks up the controller. Just because the game was released early does not mean he has an excuse to play bad, and not EVERYONE was unskilled back then, thats just an assumption. Many players coming from BFBC1 were just as skilled in the new game.

Being a sniper on rush is not a waste of a player either. In rush, there are vehicles and enemy squads that prevent you from blowing up the objective. A sniper can stop that.

But, you should try the SV 98 with 4x scope, and Magnum !! :O

Its mid range, and beasty. You can quick-scope/ no-scope faster, and more efficiently :P!

MW2 has too many noob-friendly features like GLs and one man army and commando and team/objective breaking features like tactical insertion/nuke combo. No one plays objectives in mw2 properly, they camp and try to get to 25 kills to get a nuke, it's pathetic. But I like the pace and the action when you are not dealing with shitty balancing issues.

@pihesiw4200 Try looking at my second sniper video (this video was less than 48 hours after the release of the game). Also, you can't shoot while sprinting in BC2, if you try to shoot there will be a delay as you stop sprinting and you will just be walking....just sayin...
