musicrowbum, I dont know where you got your info, but Mose Rager didnt die at RMC. He passed away ay Muhlenberg County Hospital, and there wasnt anybodys guitar with him when he did... Im his granddaughter I was there along with my Grandmother, mother and sisters and aunt...... everyday for 10 days.
Mom was his night nurse, at RMC when he died... I asked her about a week earlier, if he had a guitar @ the hospital- she said "no", so I sent mine with her that night. Maybe he played a lick or two into it.
I miss him, but not as much as I do Charlie Murphy.
Got any Chickenhawk to post?
(a neighborly nod to Eddie- enjoy hearin' you on NPT fishin' shows!)
I don't have any of Chicken Hawk but on the Odell songs on here I heard that was Chickenhawk playing the other guitar. I can't verify but that is what I have been told. I really wish I had some of Chickenhawk though. I am on the lookout for some and if I come across any I will be posting it. I am really digging in to find the older cats. They were so mind blowing.

Wonderful! Thanks so much for posting - first time I've heard a recording Mose himself.

Yeah Mose was really into the blues. It is very pervasive in his playing. I will be posting more soon. Thanks Eddie I appreciate it.
