concert pianist by day, killer by night....or is that high school student by day and hooker by night----there was a movie with that angle too, whatever it was called.
I like this film, but I don't love it. I wouldn't put it in the same category as "Mean Streets" or "Serpico" or any other bona fide classics of 70s cinema. Its an interesting film with some definite flaws. But it certainly has an incredible cast: Keitel, Michael Gazzo, Lenny Montana, Dominic Chianese, Tony Sirico, Murray Moston... I think the initial reaction of a first time viewer will be "who ISN'T in this?"
