I am a 360 ilvl hunter doing about 20k dps topping the dps in heroics and baradin hold, but I havent done any other bosses what so ever. Anyone got tips for how I can get into raiding or how I can manage to get into raiding pugs?

ohh you also forgot that heroic guilds would want to get deck out in heroic gear so that can get ready for the next tier of content so that might increase the content value for heroic guilds
i'm glad i quit wow. cataclysm just burnt me out, wrath kept me playing but cataclysm, not so much. i want to kill Deathwing but not as much as I wanted to kill Arthas.

Ive played both Alliance and Horde on 2 seperate servers and I have never done HC modes. I barely do Normals as it is, purely because I choose not to have the responsibility of turning up on time etc for a game, just my choice.

You hit the nail on the head with your second comment. Trion has a large stockpile of ideas, all of these ideas are set and ready to go. They are putting out what seems to be "a lot" of content. But it's really small bunches of content in fairly rapid succession.
It seems to me that you're trying a little too hard to be optimistic. 7 bosses just really isn't enough. It's really sad what could happen because of this, because the only reason there are only 7 bosses is because all of them are really interesting and well-made. Blizzard actually made something interesting and fun and they're going to be punished for it.
I just don't think this is a good sign for the MMO model in general. People expect so much quality content with impossible frequency.
Lore is obviously fan boy. Defend wow to end even when it is shit. All content is done in a week. Time to move on. Play Eve online or rift. Those games actually worth the price. Stop rewarding bad content fanboys.

@onetwowipe There is no possible way that guilds were 4/7 in heroic on the first day unless they faction changed, in which case they would get the kills taken away and same with the gear and achives. Stars tried that, now they're back at 7/7 reg.
After you hear Lore start talking about how T11 heroic mode giulds out gear normal mode T12 Skip to 6:00 in. That way you don't have to listen to 5 min of Lore repeating himself. Listen to that for about a min, then jump to 10:00. Listen for another min or so, then jump (again) to 15:00 and listen to Lore tell you what has always been true. Then close the vid. Congrats you just saved yourself 10+ min.

Well my 10man guild with 3 of our main members on vecation cleared 7/7normal within the first week with average ilvl in the raid being roughly 364-365. we raid 3 nights a week 4hrs per and consider ourselves casual ++. We had no experience from PTR and still ploughed through the normal content like it was soft snow..
If you mean the "average" guild will spend a month on clearing 7/7normal then yes i agree.

My guild is pretty casual, 12/12 & 1/13 t11, 2 raid nights a week (3-4 hours a night). We managed Shannox (8 wipes), Beth'tilac (8), and Lord Rhyolith (31 wipes) first week. I'm enjoying firelands so far.
Seems like you didn't see the Weekly Marmot where he was saying he was concerned about the future raids since this one seems too short. I don't consider that good-mouthing.

In your mind what's the "average" guild capable of doing in firelands? 7/7normal?
Well my 10man guild with 3 of our main members on vecation cleared 7/7normal within the first week with average ilvl in the raid being roughly 364-365. we raid 3 nights a week 4hrs per and consider ourselves casual ++. We had no experience from PTR and still ploughed through the normal content like it was soft snow..
If you mean the "average" guild will spend a month on clearing 7/7normal then yes i agree.

My guild is pretty casual, 12/12 & 1/13 t11, 2 raid nights a week (3-4 hours a night). We managed Shannox (8 wipes), Beth'tilac (8), and Lord Rhyolith (31 wipes) first week. I'm enjoying firelands so far.

7/7 bosses downed day 1. Heroic modes are going down like dominoes. You're entire career is based around good mouthing WoW. I find that sad.

Seems like you didn't see the Weekly Marmot where he was saying he was concerned about the future raids since this one seems too short. I don't consider that good-mouthing.
Also, it's "Your entire career," not "You're entire career." But I wouldn't put it past you to not know grammar when you don't know the difference between good-mouthing and bad-mouthing.

i procrastinated before the raid patch with 4.2, and now that im onto raids, im hoping i can gear for FL quickly so i can be geared and ready for the next tier, and not behind again.

I think Abbysal Maw was supposed to be a 5-man dungeon rather than a Raid...
OTOH there was supposed to be a new Caverns of Time raid at some point this expansion.
