Yes - I was there... I'm in the Thank You video at 1:52 black shirt with yellow PJ print- The "videotographer" must have been right behind me! It was a great show. It was an awesome experience seeing Given to Fly going right into Going to California - the riff is so similar- Zepplin was a huge influence on Jeff Ament the Pearl Jam bass player. I can only imagine what it must have been like to play onstage with one of your Idols.

Eddy is in the background leaning against the speaker cabinets to the right of the drum riser (left from the perspective of the camera), sitting and drinking from his customary wine bottle (3:00 - 3:07) during the performance. Then at the end you'll see that he stands up, grabs the mic stand, points to, and thanks both the guitar player, and then the mandolin player as they both exit the stage (4:53 - 4:56).
I think the hand movements is involuntary and more of a sub-conscience self-stimulating movement, like playing with your hiar when your thinking during a test or drumming your fingers. Stimming helps you concentrate.

Yes - I was there... I'm in the Thank You video at 1:52 black shirt with yellow PJ print- The "videotographer" must have been right behind me! It was a great show. It was an awesome experience seeing Given to Fly going right into Going to California - the riff is so similar- Zepplin was a huge influence on Jeff Ament the Pearl Jam bass player. I can only imagine what it must have been like to play onstage with one of your Idols.

Eddy is in the background leaning against the speaker cabinets to the right of the drum riser (left from the perspective of the camera), sitting and drinking from his customary wine bottle (3:00 - 3:07) during the performance. Then at the end you'll see that he stands up, grabs the mic stand, points to, and thanks both the guitar player, and then the mandolin player as they both exit the stage (4:53 - 4:56).

I think the hand movements is involuntary and more of a sub-conscience self-stimulating movement, like playing with your hiar when your thinking during a test or drumming your fingers. Stimming helps you concentrate.

Go watch eddie do reign over me and masters of war. no one puts in as much feeling into a song as this guy.i've seen pj live three times and they are amazing. or watch the mtv unplugged of pj in 92. you don't know what pearl jam is about then shut the fuck up, they do more for the betterment of this country than the cock sucker president we have.
