Guru Gobind Singh ji himself did Santhia of Dasam Bani from 1707 to 1708 for 1 year to 25 Singhs. If you have an issue with Dasam bani - Talk to Guru ji and ask him. Go Gurdwara do ardas, talk to sri guru granth sahib ji maharaj and get a hukamnama. Maharaj will tell you the answer himself!

jio, she is viewing this through a lens of an academic: the defn of a book is "a written work or composition that has been published (printed on pages bound together)". Therefore, Sikh or non-Sikh she has the right to use that definition, as she is referring to the physical nature (sthool) of the Guru Granth - you are confusing this with the (sookhshum) nature of the Granth. Please listen to what she is saying carefully, haste will take us further from gian/logic as anyone can judge

I have one question, Is our guru ji is Guru Granth Sahib or anything else ? If 10th guru sahib can edit and add bani of 9th guru sahib, then why he did not added Dasam Granth to Guru Granth Sahib. Bibi Jugraj Kaur has done some fantastic research in dasm granth with real dedication. It's a long interview but well worth watching if you want insight in to so called dasm granth. There are too many doubts, unexplained gaps and inappropriate mythology linked to Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Any one with feelings for sikhi and guru will and should challange this so called dasm granth.

figure out what she's trying to say, logically speaking, she knows a lot more about this then both of us.

do a little research. Search Youtube for: "Dasam Granth Exposed Part 1 of 6". if you listen to what "dasam granth" actually says, it'll recify your doubts - that's if you are a Sikh (ie want to understand, implement and integrate the teaches of SGGS ji)
