  • what website did you download the n64 emulator?

  • I just google'd it, the name is project 64.

  • I don't know much about computers and I'm planning on buying a FW soon

could I ask u if wich graphics card is better?

    ATI radeon mobility HD 4650

    or a

ATI radeon mobility HD 3650(I don't remember the exact number but it was in the 3000 s')

isn't the one with bigger numbers usually the better one? If I'm wrong please correct me

  • get a mouse. u cant play tf2 without a mouse!

  • Yeah I got a mouse lol, its a pain to play any game without a mouse.

  • this is good enough, for an integrated graphics card. But, if I decide to get this, I'm for sure going for the dedicated card.

  • I have the same laptop, but I was stupid enough not to get one with the ATI Radeon HD 512 mb graphics. I only have 128 mb of dedicated graphics, and 1.6 gb of shared memory graphics which doesnt help much if i want to play guitar hero iii or need for speed at high settings.

  • im going to get one and i think that i will get the ati radeon hd 1gb, do you think that the extra is necessary?

  • Yes, I would get it if you want to play games. To compare and see how well that video card handles some of the most popular pc games, go to notebookcheck (dot) net and where it says :notebook/laptop reviews" upper left side, click where it says "GPU comparisons:, and after that in a similar place you;ll see "gaming performance list". Find the model name og the video card and check out the frames per seconds and at which settings. Hope this helped.

  • thanks, it was really helpful, do you think i should go for the 512mb or the 1gb, im not sure how much of a difference it will make.

  • Glad it was helpful. Well, it all depends on your wallet and how badly you want games to play better at higher levels. I cannot say from experience, but more is usually better. But if the 1gb is too much extra money the 512 is great. With 512 you can play practically every new game.I'd say if your a big gamer, the 1gb, but if you just want to play some games and aren't deep pocketed, get the 512.

  • i could never stand playing a game (esp. a FPS) with the touchpad... are you used to doing that? :/

  • at that time i didnt have a mouse but now i do.

  • how do the speakers sound

  • they sound pretty good, but they arent that very loud.

  • What graphics card do you have you said integrated is it the Intel G965 cause I have that too and want to know what FPS You get

  • if you tell me how to find the model number i would gladly tell you

  • If you have the keyboard with the windows logo hold that down then press R then when a little window opens type dxdiag in it. There should be some tabs in the top click on Display. Then look for Chip type and that is your integrated chipset, or just look for name: (your chip name here) if you dont have a key with windows logo. click the bottom left search button look for run and type dxdiag

  • Ok, its: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

  • Could you tell me how much RAM it has just follow the same steps then go to display then look for Approx. Total Memory

  • 4Gb

  • is that how much your laptop has? Or the individual integrated graphics card and how many FPS do you get

  • ok, here's all i know from my laptop:

    250 HDD

    4GB RAM

    Blu-ray Drive

    Windows Vista Home Premium

Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

    1080p

    Intel Centrino

  • Alright Thanks for the help, I guess I should be able to run it

  • np. i just posted another video running gta san andreas if you want to take a look at it.

  • 2 ghz?

  • Hey what other games do u play on that! Could you also tell me if they run good! Please put some description into that because i want to buy one, but i want to know if it will be good for something like CoD MW2! I just want to know if it will be worth it!! PLZ reply!!

  • Well the model that I have can play MW on low settings idk about MW2 but then again the model that i have has integrated graphics card, not an nvidia or ati card.

  • well if it plays COD4, i just want to know if it plays good! Hinest opinion and whatever!

  • i was only able to play it on low settings with no lag but if you get a better model than the one that i have you wont have any problems.

  • Nice job being a w + m1 pyro. How much did you pay for this?

  • Game $20 and laptop around $1100 or so.

  • The framerate doesn't look very good.

  • Yep, that's because its at full settings and its the model has intel integrated graphics, if i downgrade it a little it runs just fine.

  • i just have buy an fw 390 2.4gz p8600 2gbram and 160gb hd 3650 radeon 512vram its that a good machine for play games like crysis or gears of war?????

  • 3650 is pretty old

  • Does anyone know where you enter a sony coupon code when ordering online? They have a special promotion with the coupon code SPRING but i cant find where to submit it.

  • lolz mouse pad for aiming nice vid...

i am reasured now that i know tf2 runs well cause thats the only game i need

  • im on that exact laptop right now :P while i type this comment

  • How hot does the laptop get after a little session of gaming? I really hate extra heaters in rooms lol

  • hey man i thinking about buying this laptop, can you make some video about it playing those new games GTA IV or CRYSIS?

  • I have this laptop. You can play al source games on max settings. Idk why but his laptop has a shitty fps. Mine is way faster. Crysis would most likely run best on res 1028x1400 settings med to high on this laptop with 15 fps probably.

  • you will need to get one with a processor with 2.4 ghz or more.

  • yeah, the one that I have isnt meant for games, is more like a multimedia laptop (hence the 16:9 ratio and the bluray drive) there are more powerful models, but not worth the money for me since my xbox 360 is right next to the vaio connected to my monitor (watch my setup video if you desire)

  • ohh one more question. i read a review and this guy had a problem because when he clicked it sometimes took him 2 or 3 times to actually click it.

do you experience these problems or is that him?

  • mmm...not really i always used the touchpad to click and sometimes the actual click bottom but i never had that problem, i do now use a mouse, not bc there's a problem but because of dual monitors

  • ohh okay thank you very much. you helped a lot in advice for buying this and i think im going to buy this laptop

  • the top surface is not painted, its all good, its a sony man, is pretty much the best that money can buy when it comes to windows.

  • im planning to get this laptop. is it good for everyday use like youtubing/facebook/aim/itunes/ some gaming?

  • Yeah its good for anything, specially for movies, and gaming, the one that i have is the one with the integrated graphics and it plays some good games but i dont think it could play games like cod 4 or l4d

  • which series is that? is that the one with the 4GB RAM/320 HD/ Bluray reader/ 1080 HD screen?

  • yeah i have a video of it on my pc setup video

  • yea thats the one i want to get, but i know there are weaker FW series

  • mines the VGN-fw200

  • is that like the VGN-FW351

  • idk, what i know is that mine has 250HDD, 4GB ram, Blu ray, integrated graphics chipset, 1080p

  • how does rainbow six vegas 2 run on it?

  • it runs it ok on medium settings,

  • have you had any problems with it? ive read about some people having it crash

  • nope, so far so good.

  • mm okay thanks for all the help!

  • no problem.

  • hey man you should play smash 64 over project 64k internet nintendo 64 games!! check it out, its pretty awesome. ps smash 64 rules!!!

  • wait, theres a new project 64 version?

  • yeah, you can get project64 1.7 now which is the fastest emulator, and also a special version called project 64k which allows you to play n64 games online!! search google and you'll find em

  • yeah i was just showing how it plays it in full settings, i choosed bluray over the ati video card since i have my 360 connected to my samsung monitor (not in vid, ill do one later)

  • How do you like your new laptop? i was thinking about getting one and was wondering if it plays well...the only games im concerned about are team fortress 2 and left for dead...both steam games.... overall how would you rate this computer-the other computer i was considering would be a dell xps

  • This is a non gaming laptop dude, even though I was able to play Team fortress on full settings, I doubt it can play L4D, its more of a multimedia laptop than a gaming one.

my rating would be like a 9/10 bc i dont really use it for gaming other than tf2 and n64 games and it plays them awesome, and I loooooove bluray on this thing.

  • This is definately sub-par for gaming. This laptop is designed for media not gaming.

  • yeah i know that, im just glad it plays tf2, the only game that i like on pc, other than that, i have a 360 and ps3 for gaming.
