@joeyyowee It is probably not manual focus of what you think of. For video settings it has Continuous auto focus and single auto focus. It also has a image stabilizer setting on continuous single and off. When you turn the auto focus on single it is more for something like a review video when you don't do any zooming in. The manual focus is a setting for taking pictures.
Unfortunately this Kodak model seems to have a focus hunting problem, great shame as the lens looks excellent. maybe best to stick to a dedicated movie cam.
I have a Z950, and although the videos are beautiful like yours, it also seems to go out of focus every 5 seconds. Even if I hold it at a stationary target a long distance away, it still seems to lose focus. Also, I've noticed that the camera has significant processing time...sometimes to the point of being unbearable. Otherwise, it would be a great camera. Is this normal, and is there any way to change these things?
seems like each time you move with it the view goes out of focus. is there a way to keep everything in perfect focus wherever it moves? anyways nice work!
I have been looking at the z1015 and this one and want a camera with both great picture quality and video. Many videos of the z950 have problems with the camera focusing on the target. Is this problem constant while taking videos? The z1015 has no focusing problems but is only 10 megs.
Yeah, the focus kinda bothers me on the video. But if you are planning to make videos just on tripod, you probably won't have that many problems. I'd go with the z1015 if I were you, I'm not sure if it was out when I got my z950 back in October. The good thing about the z950 is that it is small and compact.
does this camera have manual focus?

@dacasman Yeah, it's an electronic setting that has to be switched from auto focus though.

@TechingGear Yeah I meant single auto focus. I usually don't do any zooming when I record videos so I'm sure single would be better for me.

@joeyyowee Alright I posted a short single auto focus video. It just shows how it doesn't always try and focus.
