wow that's so amazing! it always gets me so excited when the crowd's singing along loudly at the perfect time, and damn that was fucking perfect.

it was so amazing how the audience filled in the silence and then the sound came back on right before the big explosive piano part. it was perfect. although my friends in the back of the audience were pretty mad about the situation. from the front though, with all of us joining together to sing along, and then the piano blasting back at just the right second. it was so perfect. probably the closest i've ever come to believing in a god. still don't, but man, that was a great moment.

I recently found a bootleg of this show that was recorded directly from the soundboard.  Could it be possible that the sound cut out because whoever was making the bootleg screwed the sound up?

Possibly. Although it did happen a few times and to multiple artists. Also the video cut out for some of their songs. I think they were just working out the bugs. First day, first year.

P.S. where can I find this bootleg?!?!?!?!

Aw, I think Radiohead handled the situation well though. And hearing the crowd sing along created a pretty cool atmosphere. Come on, it wasn't so bad!

I read a review in the Merc and a rep from Meyer sound blamed radioheads sound gear...but the same thing happened during petty's set....way to pass the blame Meyer sound.

happened during tom petty too, three times in one song. i really hope it wasn't because some sound guy was negligent... it seriously ruined this and airbag for me.

OH MAN. I was right there front row when this happened. Fantastic show, though. Poor Thom, that seems to always happen. I was one of the many fan chicks to scream "We love you anyway".

yeah! I was there too!!. did you noticed he smiled after we all where singing along?.. it was so cool.. but you have to be there to feel the moment ;)
