I have a couple questions. First could a pale person use the ultra dark tanning lotion or should I start with a lighter tanning lotion and work my way up? Also, does this tanner wash off in the shower or does it make you tanner everytime you use it like a tanning bed would do? Thank you for posting!

I've modeled for this company at tradeshows so I've used TONS of it. They have many different forms of the same solution (i.e. hand held self airbrusher, spray bottle, lotion (obviously), roller and more). I love the color there products give you. I tend to turn orangey because I am blonde and fair-skinned. This stuff however, never made me orange. Unfortunately it definitely can rub off on clothing...if you put it on before a night out, wear black! : )

Bodybuilders and fitness competitors of the like probably tan to some degree, but those super dark tans are, as far as I know, at least MOSTLY from fake tans. I don't think the vast majority of them bake for that long in a tanning bed or in the sun. You'll see a lot of them with their faces a whole lot lighter, and looking a lot lighter shortly after the competition.

Sarah, let us know how it wears. Some tanners wear off funny even when you use lots of moisturizer afterwards. So in other words is it good as a regular tanner or best for competitions. Thanks!

I was thinking of getting this for my grad. Only thing is, I'm wearing a white dress and im afraid itll rub off! Please please pleaaase could you tell me if it rubs off on your clothes? Ive seen tons of reviews but no one states whether it rubs on clothes or not! Id love a response, thanks!

@carmelington i've never had it rub off on my clothes, as long as i apply it the night before and shower in the morning before getting dressed. good luck!

@carmelington Yes it does rub off, but most self tanners that are tinted will. When you shower the next day then it will be fine. So, put this on the day before your event and then shower the next day and it won't rub off. Have used this myself and the color is very natural.

BTW, when you shower the next day the color guide (tint) will wash off but the tanner has taken effect by then and will look great!

Look like it takes a long time to apply (and maybe to take off)? That's why I've never tried tan lotions. My sister rents a sunbed for her room during winter but they're so expensive and possibly harmful.

@blondiechicknz honestly I have not, my weight fluctuates a solid 5-7 lbs. I have been running and doing more yoga lately but it's all in my diet. I like to party and eat sweets. When I don't do these things I lose weight. Exercise has little to do with my weight because I always am active.

@itsonlymepeople It was not greasy at all! It smelled OK, better than most, but still kinda like a professional tranning salon, and it comes with a cream that helps it last. Since there is a huge bottle, you can apply it as often as you want too, so it can last a long time if you want it to!
