@vlora60 Ok :) my main problem with fallout 3 and nv is that i could play then both fine with no problems on my old outdated pc , ive not got a new one and it struggles to play them ? any idea why ?? all is more powerfull than my old one aswell it just dont make sense :(

at the moment u can only have the real version of directx 10

and if you try to get 11 its just 9(b,c)

So upgrade to windows 7

@dangkey its not exactly the dx 11 but the dlls of it it says that you have dx9 but you have dx11

download the original directx 11 for windows 7 it is 571 megabytes and its called DXSDK_Jun10 and install but first delete your previous directx if at the end of the installation you will find eror reinstall it until you stop seeing the error its working on xp i installed it on my computer.

@TheMitsaras98 this file that you are showing is just an update of the directx that you have maybe 9,10 or 11,everyday microsoft makes new updates,that one of themso its not version of any directx...for all people that have problems about that i recommand to upgrade to windows 7

I downloaded DXSDK_Jun10 from Microsoft website and try'ed to install it but error code s1023 would always appear wen it was installing RunTime so i went online and found this thing that tells you how to recreate the DirectX Codes and haypresto it was a complete install! BUT! My computer recons that i only have directX 9.0c wtf? It works tho

I try'ed posting the address that shows you how to recreate them but it wouldn't let me so your going to have to do it yourself.. Type error code: s1023 into Google then open Microsoft Answers

@TokeSomeClownJuice you deleted first the other directx? if you did it youre ok fuck the errors. they are fake because they try to prevent people from usin win xp because they arent workin with it anymore.to ensure that this works go to start all programs and find microsoft directx sdk june 2010and start the control panel.
