@Dathinkingman actualy gr is the devils pawn...so if you count gr in the hell army..he would higher ranking than spawn..but,gr is a basicly a rogue he helps the innocent using his curse.
spawn is a direct anti devil kind of charecter as he gets power based on the sins of the enemy hes fingting,ghost rider is coverd in sins by purely helping satan spawn would win by a mile,think it like this spawn has 70 base damage ghost rider has 100 but he "steals" most of that damage due to the fact its lended by the devil so in the end spawn will win with 160 base damage killing ghost rider death match have done a similar comparison with kratos and spawn,spawn bieng the winner.
I like both of these characters and while Spawn is in general more powerful I think, the penance stare would fry but one guilty soul, and if I remember correctly, Spawn has several.
theres no way some bike ridding sekeleton with his skull on fire is gonna beat a Ranking officer of Hells army. Spawn didnt even used his power. he didnt threw chains, teleported, used his cape (it just disappeared!) , fired those green necroplasm blasts.
