@secallen I don't know, maybe not; but there is a real coexistance of many arabs and few jews. Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia are the best examples. A strong sepharadic jewish comunity living among millions of arabs, berbers, muslims with no big problems. When Israel starts to accept arabs living in Israel as real citizens, maybe, more arabs will try to live in peace with Jews. @91OCB I'm comparing Israel to treatment in any Arab state. As for arabs in IDF, search Lieutenant Hesham Aborea, he is first muslim arab officer. Druze have served since beginning of state (including generals and acting president) plus Bedouins and Circassians. Any muslim or christian arab who wishes to volunteer can do so, even though the "arabs" are the enemy. Contrast with treatment of peaceful Jews across the muslim world.

A strong sepharadic jewish comunity living among millions of arabs, berbers, muslims with no big problems. When Israel starts to accept arabs living in Israel as real citizens, maybe, more arabs will try to live in peace with Jews. Don't blame the arabs because it's a fashion, try to change this fashion in loving arabs.

Druze have served since beginning of state (including generals and acting president) plus Bedouins and Circassians. Any muslim or christian arab who wishes to volunteer can do so, even though the "arabs" are the enemy. Contrast with treatment of peaceful Jews across the muslim world.

@Gaeilgeoir you have your facts wrong the name has nothing to do with origin saudi arabia is just a translation of the arab kingdom owned by saud (literal translation), arabs are of two types arabized arabs and arab arabs, arab arabs where originally from yemen and the arabized arabs are from the north i.e. syria, palestine, iraq. although many arabs migrated back and forth their tradition and tribal tendencies caused them to always know their heritage and tribe origin.

@amrjosef My dear fellow, the only reason that I made the comment to begin with is because I HAVE known descendants of Iraqi Jews and they did NOT emigrate willingly. Do you really imagine so large a number of people who lived in Mesopotamia for THOUSANDS of years, (centuries before the Arab conquest of Mesopotamia), simply decided in a few short years to abandon their homes and go to a new country ?...I don't think so. Such population shifts happen for many other reasons than economics.

They paid good money for it and the Arabs were happy enough to accept it. They are within their rights to defend their property and - if the Arabs will not live in peace as neighbours - to either drive them out or prevent those who fled from returning. Arabs who want to live in peace with Jews are welcome.
