its not hard to beat a st220 my mate has a 2.0 tdci modified and it would beat that 220. it ran santa pod faster than all the st220's. the problem with the st220 is there is not much room for modification where as other mondeo's have more scope and options. i run a mondeo TDDI 178bhp and 271lbft torque!! not as fast as my mates tdci but it certainly does shift

if that focus had been remaped and decatted, im sorry to say the focus would be gone.
a work mate has a ST focus we have had it out loads of times, on a rolling start it depends who gets their foot down first for the winner. but 0-60 the focus has the edge.
overall the mondeo has its work cut out keeping up with its younger brother.
On a rolling start the st220 would probaly be ahead of the focus. Got a st220 my self took out a friend other day and he reckoned it was faster than his civic type r
That ford to the right has a volvo engine, just listen to that :P
