Being as how I AM the babysitter in this video, those of you who say you would have kicked the cat, are the f*cking pussies!!! I was not seriously harmed by it, so why kick it for defending his kid? And as a side note, I am very amused to find this video 13 years later to prove to people of the value of a guard cat. And I still love cats!
I don't think this is funny. My cat attackt me without a reason.I still have scarfs everywhere. Because i love animals i wanne give her a second chance. But a agresive cat is not funny at all...
Cat doing right thing!! Look at the babysitter she is seating , drinking something and trying at the same time play with a child ball like in idiot, it is first thing what shows that she is not enough good , playing near the table with a boll is dangerous because you can break something (it s happened). Also baby can heart him self, for example fall down on the table and break his head, or child can easily heart his self with a glass in moment when she gonna clean it! Cat+
Those parents apparently are very proud of their cat, poor babysitter I would've kicked it, she was too nice. I would not come back to work for them, mean parents.
2 things. I dont appreciate 2 worthless american faggots comentating on a very boring video as if it is the coming of space aliens. Its sad that a homo sapein sapein, the most powerful, intellectual and dexterous of all mammals on earth is seen fearfully dancing around because some cat is misbehaving. I would have caught that cat, broken its neck, and sued the owners for my distress. I am the great one and I disapprove of this video. Dont be an American faggot.
@Timberwolf7585 but you DID say you would have "kicked the damn thing so hard it'd fly into the other room" which is still atrocious and shameful behavior, no wonder @lironess thinks you are an horrible and ignorant person. There are ways of dealing with situations without resorting to violence you know.
@Tarka98 "There are ways of dealing with situations without resorting to violence you know."? Really? Tell that to the damn cat! hey @Timberwolf7585, i am an absolute cat lover, but I would've kicked that cats head right off its shoulders.
@themann2010 You can easily figure out how if you are not into gross animal cruelty. I have separated cats who were fighting without injuring them or my self. I have rehabbed abused cats who would suddenly get freaked when you were petting them and get digressive. All without kicking their heads off. You would have to be the kind of person who enjoys abusing animals to even consider that to be an option.
@HYilmaz29 haha Wow, can't you handle a little cat going for you? Only a pussy would get that angry that they'd have to kill it. haha You sound like such a little bitch.
lol thumbs up if you think more than half of the people that are saying if that happend to me i would beat the cat etc. are kids that would cry if that happend to them
my cat attacked me for no reason at night. i grabbed it up and BAM slam it on the ground. it landed on it's feet but damn that was loud. it ran like a little bitch. next day, it act like nothing's happened. i guess she was on her period or something
My cat has protected my other cat from danger in the past. My smaller cat swiped at a dog we were taking care of, then was chased by the dog. When she ran into the room, the dog stopped the pursuit, and turned around only to be smacked in the face by my bigger cat. It's happened several times and only when my other cat is in danger. It's not unusual for cats to get close bonds with people, and it's not unheard of to have "guard cats". Combine those two, and babysitter attacking cat!
Ah I feel so bad for the sitter. She looked like such a nice person playing with the kid and all. I love cats (and girls :D), but that was so wrong with her being attacked like that.
@leetatron No, the cat went into the room to see what happened and knew something wasn't right and attacked. I know this for a fact, I have a cat that does the very same thing to me when I try to give my other cats a bath. Cats are very smart and know when something is wrong. Trust me on this, I've had cats for MANY years :).
@Colton8646 Yes I do know that, but that isn't true for all breeds of cats. Turkish Vans actually enjoy swimming and go swimming on their own. All of my cats, which aren't Turkish Vans are used to me giving them baths because I have done so since they were small kittens so they don't try to fight or scratch, two enjoy the bath. Besides I have to give them a bath every now and then because they are indoor cats. The one who attacks is just very motherly of the others, she is the queen.
i have five cats an two dobeys, all of they r vary protective of my son. they r a lot smarter than a lot of people think, gabriel(cat) is close to four feet an a good 13 pounds. my mother tried to pick my son up when he was takeing a name next to gabe an he went after her.
@kevinlee41300 actually there were and sometimes she does act like a guard dog if u let her outside she will chase people who walk down the sidewalk and freaks out when someone is visiting the front door she meows as if its a robber (then again the guy was shady)
@tubeXdivision hahah I read this first so I just kept thinking about it while reading the video lol. Lets just put it this way, I laughed so much that my mom kept screaming "would you shut the fuck up".
MY cat, RA, attacks his brother when he gets too comfortable in my lap, & at other times. Hes got the same instinct. hes a HUGE Momma's boy. A red tiger.
@mamaland It wasnt fake. My cat does the same thing. Cats are smart as hell, just as smart as dogs. Their brains just work on a different level. No Momma animal is more ferocious than a momma cat. maybe just as MUCH, but not more.
In fact they are, cats are very protective animals. If their kitten was in danger it wouldn't matter if the "enemy" is a bear or a human they'd protect the kitten with their life. Same is pretty much with the family the cat is in, there's no other reason the cat is so violent in this one.
@SuicideCommando90 I've never seen a cat give two rat's tails about anything other than another cat, and that you're not paying attention to it. I'd have kicked the damn thing so hard it'd fly into the other room and think twice about trying again.
@Timberwolf7585 There you are SOOO wrong...look it up. Cats OFTEN protect their owners at great peril to themselves. They have protected bed ridden owners against intruders. They have awoken their owners when there is a fire. Get off of your obnoxious ass and just start looking and you will find LOTS of stories.
The real reason you would have kicked this cat is because you are a cruel and evil person. All that you/she would have to do is go into another room and shut the door.
@lironess people may see 'heroic' cats, but I see cats trying to protect their own skins. as for the reason i'd kick the damn thing, it's attacking me. if something attacks me, i'm gonna fight back, not run away from something that doesn't even stand up to my knee. even if you do run, there's no guarantee the cat won't just FOLLOW you.
@Timberwolf7585 We all know that you are ignorant. You do not have to continue to prove it. Ignorant and enjoy cruelty to small animals. This cat did NOT attack her until the baby started screaming. So yeah ignorant and can not even comprehend what you see right in front of your eyes. I have dealt with fighting cats before and there are literally thousands of things that you can do that will not hurt you or the cat but yeah it is apparent that you enjoy hurting small animals.
@lironess Did I say I like kicking cats? No, I didn't. That's just you jumping to a conclusion when you're losing a discussion. Cats are solitary animals, they have no instinct to protect their own kind, let alone members of another species. They may protect their young, but many animals higher on the evolutionary chain than a frog will do the same thing. If it was protecting the kid, it would place itself between the babysitter and the kid, not just chase her about the room.
@Timberwolf7585 Actually by even stating that you have proven that it is something that you would enjoy doing. Again you expose your massive ignorance. TIGERS are cats and are solitary animals. But we are not talking about tigers we are talking about DOMESTIC cats. Even feral domestic cats prefer to live in COLONIES and are NOT solitary animals. You are just pulling this gross misinformation right out of your ass. The cat was obviously trying to drive the babysitter away.
@lironess I have never kicked a cat, and I don't enjoy hurting animals. You saying that I do is akin to you saying I'm racist to end an argument. It's not going to work, sadly. Those 'colonies' you mention aren't a social gathering of cats, they're a gathering of cats around or near a food source, where each cat has it's own distinct territory. And they will defend their personal territory quite fiercely. Even if they live in colonies, they have no pack mentality, and hunt alone.
Actually cats do have protective instinct. They are NOT solitary animals, as is evident in the fact that they have a very complex communication of body language, facial expressions and up to 50 different noises.
Cats prefer to hunt alone, but they obviously interact, and develop social hierarchys as can be observed from street cats
There are also several stories of cats, who have never attacked a guest, attacking burglars.
