You can't be the change by being negative. Refusing to vote, refusing to get involved means that you allow those that are in power to continue doing just that: remain in power. And because power corrupts, the more you allow those that are in power to continue being in power unchallenged, the more you contribute to corruption. Get involved and be the change!
how about we create change by refusing to vote? by refusing to participate in an institution which steals from people against their will, which throws people into cages for breaking laws it makes up, and who is bought and paid for by war profiteers and central bankers.
how about we stop associating with the govt and its corporate owners? that is the only way to create change and achieve peace.

Let me add to the list of things you can do to change the world: 1) Be the peace. 2) Plant a tree. 3) Read to a child. 4) Donate a coat. 5) Eat one less meal each week and give the food to a food bank. 6) Smile at everyone you walk by on the street. 7) VOTE ON ELECTION DAY and vote for change! 8) Don't JUST vote. 9) Re-use. 10) Thank your teacher, your garbage collector, the grocery clerk for doing their jobs with enthusiasm.
