I'm sorry, this would be where I say something dramatically insightful or intelligent...but that damn George is distracting me once again with his sexiness. Oh boy, I need a lie down...
correct me if I am wrong, but it was NOT in the movie "Hard Day's Night"....it was one of the scenes/songs that was cut in the final product. I haven't watched the movie lately, but I don't recall it being in the final cut.....
@joyce99999 You are correct... but it should have been. Not a term I would usually use to describe a Beatles song, but it was a funky little number. One of my favorites.
Good job on the pitch correction. I'd run across this video before when I was going to do a remake but it was flat to my keyboard. I had to find a version in right on the key of G. Again good job
@entheomusic Actually, the producers hired just about every kid actor in England to be audience members for the movie. They were afraid that they wouldn't be able to control an actual audience of teenagers and child/adolescent actors could at least take direction. One of the boys in the crowd was Phil Collins who was a 13 year old child actor at the time.
thanx for correcting the sound - - now if only one of could figure out how to grab bits of some of the other beatles songs to make them sing this song with Nilsson's arrangement. Ever hear his version of this song? Remember how they claimed Nilsson was their favorite singer AND favorite group?
Do you mean "corrected' or slowed to the original speed? Sounds great! She Loves You also suffered from this same "correction".

Another great Lennon vocal, he was such a better singer in the early days of the Beatles, IMHO...

This is the first song where the Beatles actually threw a little funky beat into the mix.
