yeah KB was def a defensive liability in this series and they all took turns abusing him

kobe was very spotty during this series and sometimes would look good but often looked shaky. he had a few games of hitting some ridic 3's late in teh game

Blazers had a great team though. The west was stacked even back then with the Spurs(Duncan was injured this year in the playoffs so htey didnt get to defend their title), the Blazers, The kings and the lakers

next years west is a beast with the Lakers, Spurs, Suns, Hornets, Jazz and Blazers

East will be kinda stacked too w/ the improved Cavs, Celtics, Pistons, 76ers and Magic. (Raps, Wiz, Hawks + Heat all could join that with a tweak or two)

Kobe was great in this game too though. He may have been the games mvp more than Shaq. Kobe played a near-perfect game.... Shaq had a solid/average game for him...... that shows how dominant Shaq was though that even in an average game for him and a near-perfect game from young Kobe(all-nba player even then at 22).... even under those circumstances Shaq was still having the biggest impact on the game and was the most dominant player on the floor.
