the ranking has not changed in almost 12 months, New Zealand are constantly number 1 for probably 90% of the time.

The World Cup is a knockout tournament and winners and losers can be decided on a poor pass or decision by one player, hence a bit of luck is needed as well as a good team.

Engalnd were lucky they didn't have to face New Zealand, we would have destroyed them.

I dunno, The All Blacks are genrally the best team on the pitch, but England has been pretty good lately. You can't deny that Jonny Wilkinson (when he's not injured) is a very good player.
