LOVE THIS...me and my mom have watched a few more of your videos. You are a wonderful artist to say the least. But, I think you may 'morph' your voice more than you admit. Find and have confidence in your own voice (if you haven't already). However, if you continue with 'Jill Scott' type music, you will be successful, although another 'Jill Scott' wannabee...and you don't want that!! Otherwise, it was a VERY refreshing take on one of my fav Jill songs... I have been listening for 3 days now!

oh no i'm not trying to be another Jill Scott! There's only one Jill Scott and will always be one! I LOVE Jill Scott, she inspires me a lot but I'm not trying to be her haha :P "morph" in the way that I would try to imitate her voice? yeah I'm fully aware of that. it's a "professional malfunction" I'm a backvocalist my job is to blend my voice with the lead singer so when I do a cover I unintentionally sing like the singer haha :P

@Dididole Ok, I gotcha..backvocalist..I don't know if you any demos (sure you do) , but you need to send a couple to Hidden Beach Records. That's her record label. Do not contact her rep/press group. Get as many 'Philli' contacts as possible AND I would even go onto her website(s), and post some of your stuff there. It WILL eventually hit, trust me!! Hidden Beach would be a great starting point for you.
