Metal Gear was inspired from this. If anything at all, he is Big Boss and David Hayter is Solid Snake. I cannot see them as not.

Much as I enjoy the movie Tango and Cash, they really missed the boat not making some kind of flick with Russell and Stallone playing their better characters of Snake and Cobra. There'd be no fucking around with the bad guys in that movie, Snake would sink that nail studded club into the back of skulls and Cobra would slam them screaming onto big old hooks headed for the flames. Sadly, a movie of that caliber is simply beyond modern Hollywood's gun.

The crazies scared me for weeks after I saw them lol I was worried after watching their first scene that they would reappear in the film! Luckily for my health they didn't, but now They're my favourite bad guys!
