Oddly enough, this song does not sound like what it`s title suggests, "The Last Sad Song". It sounds more like a... "new" beginning to me. Like when you reach the end to your journey and having realize that your hardship is finally over. As you look up into the sky and see all the dark ominous clouds fade away, giving birth to a bright new blue future. All the while a soft cool gentle breeze is blowing on your face and through your hair.

im just stating my opinion.

this composition is a beautifully mastered piece of both happy and sad tones giving it a melancholy feeling, more on the sad side than the happy side.

but you can hear some notes indicating a slight, ever so hard to detect joy inside. its lovely, and wonderful. vote me down if you must, but this is my opinion.

Maybe it would be much more fitting to a "sad" mood if you slowed it down more. increase the length each note is played by maybe 150% or 200% and let it strecth out the song to 2:15-3:00 minutes. I'd be interested in hearing that version and see how it turns out.
