couple yrs in shaolin kempo, yr of taizen ryu ju jutsu, dabbled in muay thai, shou shu, kuk sool won, TKD, catch wrestling, jkd, judo. Been around it my whole life my family were more serious martial artists than I. So if you fought in the street you are saying your technique wouldn't look much better than theirs? If thats El Salvador Im pretty sure its a third world country :)
@Leonidas3888 ignorant comment. martial arts fights arent like in the movies where moves are choreographed so each fighter exchanges techniques back and forth perfectly blocking, dodging, and countering. Real fights don't look pretty especially when kung fu guys, after practicing flashy forms, punch and kick like everyone else when put in the ring.
@ziferzero77 lol well then they aren't practicing correctly in a third world country this may pass as martial arts. I'm a martial artist and grew up watching street fights as well as competitive martial arts and this sucked. guy in black could a done a belly to belly suplex and ended up winning faster. Again not martial arts
@Leonidas3888 i never said this fight didnt suck. im just saying fights arent pretty: competitive or real. I think u could reword the line when u mentioned "third world country" when many martial arts are from asia which were or still made up of some third world country's. im a martial artist too: Based in Kempo Karate 8 years, practicing Muay Thai 3 years and BJJ 1 year. how about u?
Totalmente de acuerdo ese tipo de kung fu no sabe nada, pero ni un vago en la calle, por lo menos en la calle tienen mañas...pero bueno ay muchos a los que les gusta dar paja y a otros darse paja.
@djmdjm10 this is true so long as it's a novice striker with absolutely no knowledge of grappling... As a Kung Fu fighter who cross-trains in BJJ and wrestling with an emphasis on MMA application, I know that my striking is the big difference. I have good submission skills, good sweeps, and decent take-down defense, so, I am not a fish out of water in grappling.. So, I am a very effective striker.
dont say style vs style, rather say the names of the people

The Sambo guy won the match. If you take a close look at the mannerisms of each athlete's strikes, you can clearly tell who is who.

who is the sambo guy and who is the kung fu guy? i can't tell...
