They are. Simply put. You have these critics that say his voice isn't the same, etc. Um, he's 50? Idiots. At this point, his voice doesn't matter, it's about the U2 experience which they seemingly will never know about. Bono could be 80 and he would still sell out. For all of the people who keep complaining about U2 screwing up some of their songs obviously don't know what it takes to put together a show of this magnitude. Furthermore, they haven't toured together in a few years. I would, therefore, expect to hear mistakes for the first couple of shows. People also questioned U2's performance ability on their last tour but after the first couple of shows the critics were once again silenced. U2 then went on to complete another successful mission.

I saw the opening show in Brussels 2005 and it was not perfect. They learned from their mistakes and from the massive buildup, weeks of rehearsals and 250+ people to prepare we knew it would be great. And so it was, in Barcelona where I was again, it was far better than Brussels, and an excellent atmosphere in the stadium. All bandmembers in top shape, and crisp sound Q, with 90.000 friends.
