Budden ripped this apart, and I got love for Stack, R.I.P., but he was ALMOST outclassed by Joey, lyrically on this. Budden is probably the nicest rapper from NJ, right now, or maybe ever, besides Redman of course. Anyways, the beat is the best part, IMO.

Werd, I don't think he's fallen off but he just doesn't hit as hard as he used to . . . for what it's worth, I think Buddens best music slightly > Redman's best. I know a lot of hip-hop heads will disagree, but his shit with Desert Storm and Mood Muzik II are just phenomenal. Redman certainly has the more impressive catalogue, as far as volume is concerned, but I haven't been up on Budden as much as I have Reggie lately.

Yeah, I saw an interview with him and Meth where they were discussing the need to be "Superman" in this rap game, just to survive. So on the one hand I definitely applaud them for keeping it real and staying relevant, but an artist like Budden seems to have more room for growth, while Redman has only so much more variety he can extract from his career. I actually haven't heard MM4 yet, but I'm def gonna check for it sometime this year . . . just gotta finish MM3 first. L0L
