But it was a decision we both took to make this baby and we can't just erase the baby like a mistake. However, there are women out there that, in contrast to what you try to promote, carry the baby and give birth to the child - because either they love it enough to keep the baby for themselves and raise it as their own (regardless of who fathered the child) OR they care about the baby enough to give it to another more stable and loving husband & wife, who may not be able to have children on their own, and would gladly take the child in.

Most of the children adopted are Caucasian, females, under the age of two, with no known family history of mental or physical problems. They don't want to have to raise a child who has severe problems either. What happens to the ones who remain in state care, which is over 35% of ALL children in state custody? They have to suffer, sometimes unbelievable, pain just because their mother was forced to give birth.
@fineantight Actually, it depends on the orphanage/adoption facility and the amount of care and attention being given to the child. That is a fact. There are external programs that ARE offered to help with families who do want to adopt older children and help make the transition easier on the child. Granted there are occasions, where the child is so disruptive it is harder to find the child a family. But in most cases, that is not too much of an issue at all.
@EmilyGreene1984 I'm sure they try. But considering most parents don't want older children they can't force a family to take one. Families usually have in mind what they want. That's usually not a child but a baby.

@fineantight Now I will agree that SOME (not all) state adoption centers are not ideal for babies given up for adoption. I DO agree that there should be a vast overhaul of the adoption requirements and protocol - in order to prevent innocent children from ending up either abused or neglected by such places OR being placed in unhealthy or violent families. Nevertheless, there ARE good adoption centers out there (more than you suggest) who do consider the needs of every child and raise them well.

There are also various well-accredited adoption agencies, which do provide proper care for unwanted babies and children as well as a very strict adoption process to avoid children being given to violent, unhealthy, or unfit adults. That is what that unborn baby is subjected to when its mother wants to kill the child.

The mother had literally been stabbed repeatedly in the gut with a box cutter and at one point, had her intestines spilling out. (By a miracle of God, she survived and the other women caught) It had been presumed the infant was killed in the attack, but it was discovered the baby had balled itself up higher up near the stomach.

My view is this, if a woman is gonna have sex she needs to make all the corresponding actions and be proactive about taking every possible precaution to avoid a baby if she is not ready. If not, don't have sex and close the legs. Its a known fact that if you have unsafe sex you will get pregnant at some point. But it was a decision we both took to make this baby and we can't just erase the baby like a mistake. However, there are women out there that, in contrast to what you try to promote, carry the baby and give birth to the child - because either they love it enough to keep the baby for themselves and raise it as their own (regardless of who fathered the child) OR they care about the baby enough to give it to another more stable and loving husband & wife, who may not be able to have children on their own, and would gladly take the child in.

Most of the children adopted are Caucasian, females, under the age of two, with no known family history of mental or physical problems. I've stated both sides have doctors and scientist on their sides. I just don't view religion when I chose who to believe. A fetus can't feel what it can't understand. Abortions before 5-6 months are quick and painless, proven, doctors use a "vaccum" to suck the fetus out of the body.

If the mother is in distress it would make sense that something attached to her body would react to her distress. Every cell in her body may tense up, including the unborn fetus. They don't want to have to raise a child who has severe problems either. What happens to the ones who remain in state care, which is over 35% of ALL children in state custody? They have to suffer, sometimes unbelievable, pain just because their mother was forced to give birth.

@fineantight Actually, it depends on the orphanage/adoption facility and the amount of care and attention being given to the child. That is a fact. There are external programs that ARE offered to help with families who do want to adopt older children and help make the transition easier on the child. Granted there are occasions, where the child is so disruptive it is harder to find the child a family. But in most cases, that is not too much of an issue at all.

@EmilyGreene1984 I'm sure they try. But considering most parents don't want older children they can't force a family to take one. Families usually have in mind what they want. That's usually not a child but a baby.

@fineantight Now I will agree that SOME (not all) state adoption centers are not ideal for babies given up for adoption. I DO agree that there should be a vast overhaul of the adoption requirements and protocol - in order to prevent innocent children from ending up either abused or neglected by such places OR being placed in unhealthy or violent families. Nevertheless, there ARE good adoption centers out there (more than you suggest) who do consider the needs of every child and raise them well.

There are also various well-accredited adoption agencies, which do provide proper care for unwanted babies and children as well as a very strict adoption process to avoid children being given to violent, unhealthy, or unfit adults. @EmilyGreene1984 I'm not sure why I would need them but post them anyways for women who may. In my state we have very few options. I'm COMPLETELY for open adoptions. This way you KNOW a good family will have your baby. But all this talk about adoption doesn't help with unwanted PREGNANCIES. If a woman doesn't wanna use her uterus for your fetus she shouldn't have to.

@fineantight Well there are living people who are unwanted and even if it were legalized to "get rid of an unwanted adult". If you've seen the senior citizen care in Europe especially, its disgusting how they are treated and those people are "already born" and yet they are treated with the same disregard as it would for an unborn child. Those people are regarded as "unworthy" or "burdensome" to live - so doctors will sometimes neglect them or insist they commit suicide.

I'd rather a fetus be painlessly removed before it can feel pain, which is before it's 32 week gestation, then be beat to death by a parent. And a lot of children who are in state custody are abused, neglected and beat by foster parents so giving the child up isn't always better.

@fineantight I didn't deny that there were women who are abusive. However, in contrast to what you say, a baby within the womb can feel and react to outside stimuli. (If you will) If you've ever had the nerve to watch a video of a baby being killed within the womb, it actually DOES feel what is going on inside the womb.

This I could buy, if a clinic ever used sonogram or ultrasound during the procedure. But they won't because it could be leaked and any normal woman would ask them to shut it off.

Because the footage shown during ultrasounds to kill the unwanted baby, they show babies earlier than 35 weeks reacting to the instruments and saline solutions reacting violently in pain, even crying out in the womb. There are abortion survivors who will attest to that. Those people, by a miracle of God (yes, I do believe in God), survived the doctor and their mother's attempts on their life.

@fineantight You can also find much medical and scientific evidence proving that babies can. In fact, a few relatives in my family work in the medical field - both in pediatrics and as general practioners. (One of my good friends is a medical student specializing in obstectrics) And they all have attested that the "fetus" does react and can feel pain.

You mean any woman who is afraid to be held accountable for the fact she's killing another human being inside of her. Its all about guilt really. Because if a woman sees her baby moving inside her womb and still wants to have it killed, I can't imagine a more hateful or violent crime committed by a mother against a child, she doesn't want to have. There is more than just the "Silent Scream" footage to support the fact that unborn babies do feel pain, when attempts on their lives occur.

Even women who DO want to keep their babies admit that's a living, breathing little person in their wombs when they watch them on the ultrasound screen. Are you going to call those women liars?

I would honestly recommend you to watch the interviews of people who survived abortion. Those people defied the odds against their lives and thrived and, in contrast to what some might suggest, they turn out to be responsible, loving, well-educated people. They didn't turn into rapists or thugs or anything like some women falsely believe. It all depends on how the child is raised and how they are brought up. I highly recommend you to hear Rebecca Kiessling's testimony - if you wish to look it up

@fineantight In fact, if you have the nerve to watch actual footage when an unborn baby is being murdered, the baby actually cries out in agony and is suffering. It would be no different than if someone were to trap you underwater and then try to impale you with sharp knives or pouring some caustic material - to make sure you were killed underwater, because you were unwanted. That is what that unborn baby is subjected to when its mother wants to kill the child.

And until the fetus is 35 weeks it can't feel pain, scientific fact, after that the baby can survive outside the womb. In those cases I agree with you. I'm against late term abortions, as the abortion usually produces a breathing baby who is left to die after being injected with a poison similar to what is used on death row.

@fineantight Nowadays, if a mother doesn't want to keep her baby and gives the child up for adoption, she can at least make sure that the child is given to a loving & stable family (even if from a distance and YES, some women nowadays actually continue to do that). There are actually various organizations that can help with such processes in adjacent to the adoption.

@fineantight . In fact, there is a recent story on the news of a woman who was brutally attacked by another woman trying to steal her unborn baby in Washington DC. The mother had literally been stabbed repeatedly in the gut with a box cutter and at one point, had her intestines spilling out. (By a miracle of God, she survived and the other women caught) It had been presumed the infant was killed in the attack, but it was discovered the baby had balled itself up higher up near the stomach.

@EmilyGreene1984 At THIS point the woman is far enough along for the baby to survive outside it's mothers womb. Therefor I'd be against abortion anyways. The new law that was passed, late term abortion and live abortions are not abortions in my book. If the child is born and is able to breathe, without being in the mothers body, the doctors have to then kill it. That's a different story.

@fineantight And even more amazingly, although very premature, the child was delivered fully developed and unharmed, despite what had occured to the mother. So by the very fact that science and medical evidence proves that these babies, while inside the womb, can demonstrate conscienceness of their surroundings and unlike a true parasite, the baby can either respond in various ways to outside the womb - even though we can't hear the baby make sounds itself.

@fineantight Abortion clinics don't show ultrasounds because they know that might screw up their profit. They make a living to kill unwanted babies. That's really all it is. Its a glorified baby-killing mill. You can deny it but many workers of Planned Parenthood have openly admitted it and even the doctors assisting in the murders admit "it is their passion to kill as many babies as possible". Its genocide really, even if you don't believe it so.
