Chet Atkins and Lenny Breau

When Chet Atkins use the words "hero" and "legendary" you know you're in the presence of a virtuoso guitar player. It's very unfortunate that Lenny got killed when he had so much more music to give to the world. Being a drug addict, I think there was a contract on his head for unpaid drug debt but that's just my opinion.

These guys are both great, but I'm particularly fond of Lenny Breau. Check out the post-Coltrane diminished pattern Chet lays down in the intro of Sweet Georgia Brown. For a guy who called himself "CGP" (country guitar picker), he was a very worldly and sophisticated musician. Don't you miss these guys?!

Lenny Breau did do drugs but thats not how he died he was murdered over them.

No you are wrong, Lenny was strangled by his wife also no traces of drugs were found in his body. Even his 7 string guitar was not stolen so his death had nothing to do with money or drugs. You should get your facts straight before posting something like that.
