that was probably the cleanest solo over this ive heard. so melodic, but not too slow. you could easily hear the mixolydian my favorite part of this song. overall just a wonderful performance thanks for posting. i like what you did with your pickups, you are using 6 single coils, and on jerry's signature guitars he usually had 5 single coils. whats the benefit of all those pickups? and why not just a couple humbuckers instead of all the singles?
@D3EDH3AD I think the sound is a combination of the hole equipment. I use a Dimarzio Super II in singlecoil mode (the middle pickup). The signal goes thru a Raussenzehn Preamp (Fender Twin preamp copy), thru an old Furmann Springreverb (with 6 Springs), a Klein & Hummel solid state studioamp and at last the speakersystem with two JBL E120. I use a Boss OD2 overdrive with very moderate setting during the solo. And at the end I've added a Boss OC-2 octave effect.

@twinkie999 They are 3 humbuckers that he can split into sigle coil, not 6 single coils.
