This is definately one of the definitive rock n' roll songs for me. I've always been a punk and was never so crazy about old radio rock, but this is an important song and message. While they were talking about the rise of disco and everything at the time, the same applies to today. Rap and pop are clearly the media's choice of where the country's music is going, and I think it makes us all long for a time of more music and less commercial crap. Long live RAMONES. You won't be forgotten.
