They just show up afterward and try to convince you not to make out a report so that crimes stats appear low and their precinct looks good and so the commissioner doesn't re-assign anyone for making him look bad. The family thought he was such a nut case and said that he was showing signs of depression and abnormal behavior just before going to Florida...and they let the man go! Why would they do that?
