Ireland has nothing to do with the events in Derry/Londonderry. The events took place in a territory under British control. It would be like blaming South Korea for Japan's actions during World War Two. The man's comments are silly because it's like saying I shouldn't be convicted of a crime because someone else wasn't. today u cant guarantee a safety of a British tourist or another person traveling abroad. because they get kidnapped, tortured or simply harassed or humilated thanks to the terrorist actions of British government. Despite UK's war crimes on Sri Lanka during colonial time Sri Lanka has maintained a good friendship with them. but now Britain is on the verge of creating another enemy!

The west is already failing in every god damn way you can imagine. Keep up with that attitude of their's for trying to punish a country which did nothing but resuce its civilians is just sick. The west couldn't defeat terrorism the way Sri Lanka did even with support from so many countries. Shame on them. The more they try to put Sri Lankan government efforts down, the more they get humiliated just likes this. Just powerless and shameful.
