I gotta say Dave Bickler sings this song way more effortlessly than Jimi Jamison. Jimi Jamison sometimes gets vocally tired sometimes. Notes cut short. Flat notes. Cracks. I understand these songs are hard to sing but just comparing Jamison to Bickler. I mean Jamison is a great singer though and has a nice rough tenor tone to fit these songs, but still gotta give love to Dave Bickler cuz he is very consistent compared to Jamison. He sounds great here. Wow!

Founding Survivor members Jim Peterik, Gary Smith and Dennis Keith Johnson initially came together in 1977 as The Jim Peterik Band and recorded one album, Don't Fight the Feeling, on Epic Records. Then in 1978, at the urging of tour manager Rick Weigand, Peterik hooked up with Frankie Sullivan, brought in singer Dave Bickler and Survivor was born.

He also caused Jim Peterik, the who founded the band and wrote all of their songs to quit. I heard Jim was a better guitarist from Jimi Jamison.

Speaking of Jimi, he also quit back in '06 because of Frankie's junk. He lied about Jimi's pay, didn't tell him about using his songs in movies, and was just a total ass.

Now on top of all of that he got the rights to the name Survivor! It's Jim Peterik's band. Bullshit.
