He's got the capo on the right fret but you do a Cadd9 type position (relative to the capo): X32X3X, and the a G type position: 32X2XX. You can figure out the picking pattern from there, but thats all I know so far

I agree about the ear training comment. This is way too high in pitch in comparison to the original. Also, most of your videos feature power chords.
