Nowdays they mix everything with everything and selling it for hundreds, sometimes thousands for "designer breed". But there are good people who are breeding not for money, but to better the breed, getting closer to what they use to be, not only physically

If I pick a Malinois from Dutch or Belgian lines I know and trust, I'll be fine. With dogs like Cane Corso, Presas etc it's a roll of the dice. And even if you find a good one, it's hard to find other good ones and start a viable line. And if you started a viable line, good luck finding suitable dogs to outcross to! It's a bit much!

The only people who buy junk shepherds are ones who aren't experienced enough to see a good working dog when one is in their face. I can go out, and pick 10 adult GSDs right now and guarantee all will do work because I will have selection tested them and they will have met my standards. You simply can't do that with Cane Corso.

I hope Spaying an Neuturing is encourage to buyers, we don't need them Fucking up the breed, nor do we need any more K9's in overcrowded shelters. Backyard breeding causing more problems for K9's and people then one would think. Leave it up to the Professionals in the know. @LonnaNJ Actually its hard to find a corso with high energy nowdays, because people are trying to breed the biggest dogs they have, not caring about anything else. And they dont want to work! I am lucky to have ine the way she is, she can outrun about any dog and outswim a lab....The other corsos I've met are nowhere near to be as energetic. She is in a great shape, too, all muscle, not a gram of fat
