It's not a Christian Band... People are in context of what their music is. Their music is influenced by God, but does that necessarily has to make them Christian? No. They are all of the Christian faith, but overall they are a rock band, not a Christian band.

she gave me something to listen to. When i gave up wordly music, didn't know what to listen to. Flyleaf was one of the firsts, they're not the best but were like a jump start. although they do have a lot of good songs ^^

I don't consider myself religious, but it doesn't change the fact that these are great songs, so people need to just up about the religious factor. Who really cares? It's great music, and the fact that they wrote it about religion shouldn't change that.

This wasn't even one of the most memorable songs the first run-through I did of the CD.
But after a few listens it got stuck in my head and instantly became one of the favourites.

No, derox is correct. They don't classify themselves as a Christian band, though they are all Christians by belief. The fact that others do does not give you basis to say they are something they claim they are not.
My Chemical Romance has been classified as many different styles, but the band says they are just Rock, so that's how they should be classified.

I'm very impressed with this song--I am a fan of Flyleaf, but I feel this song shows an evolution in their songwriting. Plus, the song reminds me of Chevelle's "Until You're Reformed" [musically, and certain intense parts]. Currently my favorite track from Momento Mori.

It's not a Christian Band... People are in context of what their music is. Their music is influenced by God, but does that necessarily has to make them Christian? No. They are all of the Christian faith, but overall they are a rock band, not a Christian band.

they said that they cannot seperate their religion from their work, so in that sense, they are a Christian band, but they found that the title Christian Band excludes many people so they prefer to not be labeled in that sense.

I am an Agnostic and Flyleaf is one of my favorite bands, you don't have to be a Christian to like Christian bands you can appreciate the singers voices and lyrics.
In fact some of my favorite bands are Christian like Flyleaf and Skillet.
