2)It is really well done CGI, but the point is flawed. Most people are misinformed about greenhouse gasses and the ozone layer. Global Warming is a very plausible theory but it is still only a theory...how can it be getting warmer every year and we still break cold weather records every year.

I always though it was pompous of Human kind for us to think we could end life on earth. Life will continue but the pity is that it will only be simple life. We have an opportunity to allow life to exist beyond the confines of our earth and are damaging that chance by not conserving energy. Simple lesson. If by energy conservation we can reduce our consumpton by half and currently we spend $1,000 per head how much would be saved annually by a nation as large as the USA.

Natural global warming is fact. The warming contribution of carbon dioxide released by mankind is negligible. There a thousands of other factors influencing our climate, some in our control, many more not in our control. But the bottom line is, the world will not end, it will carry on, innovate, and adapt, like we always have and always will.

Man made warming is a fact. In the 1960's the debate was about a new Ice Age but the evidence overe the last 50 years has proved otherwise. All non man made factors should point to a cooling but greenhouse gasses are causing a warming.

I'd like to see man adapt to the worse that could happen: +10 degree centagrade global average, ocean currents switching off (and consequent release of vast amounts of poisonous gasses over the Earth's surface from stagnant oceans), 900 foot sea level rise. et al

6 degree rise at most. And at best, it's a wild guess. The Gulf Stream won't magically shut down. And if it does, temperatures will decrease, quite a lot. 900 foot sea level rise? Oh good, that means the gas hydrates won't be released due to the tremendous extra pressure. There's so many positive as well as negative feedbacks that to make such blind assumptions is ludicrous.

And oh yeah, climategate.
