  • Lillith, really? That's bull...

  • 6 min. into the video and i was out! i know the history channel can never portray the Bible in its original context and so why i clicked on this is beyond me. sooo sad on how they pervert, miss quote, add, subtract from scripture to sensationalize it for the ignorant that watch this and take it as facts. pathetic!

  • @HelloWorld1947 That is really sad that you don't feel that way about the people who decided on what books should and should not go into the bible. You should read the bible with a grain of salt, since it was however a bunch of different books written by a bunch of different people interpreted as they seen fit. Just a thought maybe you could ponder.

  • @HelloWorld1947 u have to read it for urself. i guess ur the one who doesn't read and understand it. =)

  • lol

  • I'm using this as reference for a University class and I would love it if you could put the information for the video in the description, If I would do a project on this I would often need to publication date as well as the authors, or director, whether it was on A&E or History that would originally air. Awesome video, very thankful for the information :D js.

  • At 22:20 - This offer of Lot's doesn't "seem horrendous" - it IS horrendous.

So much for Lot being a "just and righteous man," according to Simon Peter.

  • love is costly

  • those quotes are not from from the bible, I read the bible all the time it they misquote all the bible verses

  • Quran----- the word of God

read it to know the difference between mans word and Gods word

  • fuck love ! I hate love, don't even want to make love

    I DON''T NEED LOVE...

  • I'm surprised they didn't talk about Judah, his sons, and Tamar. I guess that has more to do with rights to children rather than love...

  • the History Channel is the kind of stuff that we can just laugh when it comes to Bible matters. Their ignorance of the Bible is amazing. Actually, is fascinating. Clueless or just a deliberate suble way to discredit the perfect beyond our limitations? for example: "the Bible is supposed to be a book to guide a virtuous life but ahhhhhhhh have sex (!!) bbbuuuu!!! and this and that..

my brother Christians...can you believe that kind of dumbness? actually is just spiritual blindness.

  • @mrtriplewinner We have facts and questions and as time goes by a lot of theologists, historians, rabbis, evolutionist,etc... are all discovering more evidence to back it up. I hope you know that libraries existed before the 5 books of moses were written. It's not hard to find SEX in the bible my little bro... LOT? Solomon? Jacob and his nasty ways with his cousins?lol You try to hard to justified the bible, relax, we are educators who love to read and solve puzzles. Science is key!

  • Actually, Science only exists because of the Bible.

....and to say that SEX (can you make bigger letters ? LOL) is a 'bad' thing ONLY a moron like you, who knows nothing of the Word. Before you open your mouth wih your stupidity, go get some Sunday morning class in a church around you. You try too hard to justify your poor beliefs, relax, before your thought of making a move, you are already late. Amazing how you can embarrass yourself like that. uaw.

  • how can i get a the link?

  • The BIBLE is the MARK of the BEAST! Constantine (1st beast) legalized Christianity and had 50 bibles compiled. King James, homo (2nd beast) 666 # of a man, born 1566, 6th of Scotland, authorized 66 book bible, image of God's word, carried in your hand, memorized in your head, made to speak (the bible says) and is used as an object of worship. Your faith will fail.

  • why do Adam and Eve have belly buttons?

  • @gotaiwo dont worry...they will make some other story up for that too...

  • SHAME FOR BIBLE MAN MAID BOOK

  • there are penis everyware XD I will be more ccarefull .........

    PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE That´s ¬¬

  • Whether you read it through a religious point of view or otherwise, the Song of Solomon is a beautiful love poem. It's a lot like Shakespeare's "Venus and Adonis."

  • david fuck his best friend wife, his son rapped his wives, his daughter is fucked by her brother !!!! what lecon need to be tought?!! it should be xxxbible rated R bible

  • Originally Torah was the word of God. The jews tampered the word of God and now the torah is a mixture of rubbish and truth. Its not reliable anymore. Same goes to the bible.

  • the bible sounds pornographic!

  • @Ashrafhossain2010 Read the Song of Solomon then you will speak of pornography.

  • @MrMiket102 Read "The Essential Writings of Christian Mysticism" and then you will know that The Song of Solomon is interpreted several different ways--not just pornographically.

  • nowdays we have porn and the spring of this porn is the veses of the bible. shame on you the writers of the bible,,,shame on you to say that this book from GOD or GODS word...how can such a prophets rape and be drank of wine and make adultary,,,shame shame its a big lie.

  • thats sad cedleylabb02, maybe man did makeup alot on their view of how god is, maybe even today we really don't know god, but u only have to look around, your body the planets it's a work of art, it would be sad to say it was all an accident. just how we invent things some being out there must have invented us.

  • you know God does not exist at all..... sex is a need.... it is a need of human being... God was just made by the creative writers of the bible.. God and religion was just an invention of humans.... sex is in the will of humans it is our nature....

  • Oh, History Channel. Your pandering and glossing over the Bible is so lame. If only they had more balls, then they'd have covered the verses which say if a woman is raped in the city, she's to be stoned with her rapist, since she did not cry for help loud enough to be heard (Deuteronomy 22:23-24), or the verse which sanctions the taking of female captives from conquered tribes (Deuteronomy 21:10-14), and stoning a woman if she can't prove her virginity after being married (Deuteronomy 22:20-21)

  • You obviously do not understand Bible times. Virgins were given proof in various forms. And a raped woman was only stoned if she willing submitted to being raped. Maybe you should read the entire thing and put it in context before making assumptions

  • Your such a fucking tool aquaquia.... Look at yourself trying to defend the morality of stoning a woman.... Your a real piece of work and you can shove your stone age dogmatic morality up your ass hole....

  • @Aquaquia It doesn't make it right to defend stoning a rape victim

    p.s. i am a christian

  • @dhoward601

Okay, I think that there's a little misunderstanding here. I am not defending stoning a rape VICTIM. In the Bible, it states that if a woman is in the city and she is raped without defending herself or calling for help in any way, she will be stoned. City being the key word here. Unlike modern slums, if you screamed in a city in Bible times someone is bound to hear you. In other words, if you didn't bother to yell it would be more like adultery than rape.

  • @Aquaquia "she is raped without defending herself or calling for help"

You are adding words to the text.

    Most unwise AND unethical.

The passage says NOTHING about "defending herself,"

only that if she doesn't cry out during her assault she must be killed.

So all a rapist had to do is to put his hand over her mouth

or tie a gag in her mouth.

Then if she dared to report the rape

    she would be killed herself.

    What a stupid god.

  • @Imaginefree69 First of all, I am NOT adding words. That's how it's written.

Also, there are exceptions to every law. Special circumstances. Modern laws, ancient laws. That's why there's a judge.

  • @Aquaquia " I am NOT adding words."

    Of course you are.

Please show me "without defending herself" in the text.

It is not there. Only the shouting, which, as I pointed out

(and this is a FACT, not just a"rant" and no insults whatsoever),

is quite easy for a rapist to prevent

by putting a hand over her mouth or shoving a...

I was going to say a sock, but they didn't wear socks, did they?

shoving maybe his tobacco pouch or his tefillin in her mouth.

  • @Imaginefree69

You seem to have accidentally, I'm sure,

overlooked my request for Biblical information.

I maintain that you added words to the text.

    You emphatically denied it.

    So I asked you

"Please show me "without defending herself" in the text."

    I await your response.

  • @dhoward601 I think that there is a little misunderstanding here. The Bible states that if a woman is raped in the city and does not cry for help, she is to be stoned. City being the keyword here. Unlike some modern cities, if you screamed in a city in Bible times someone is bound to hear you. In other words, if you didn't yell for help it would be more adultery than rape. Just like if someone goes up to you and tries to have sex with you, and you don't do anything to stop him.

  • @Aquaquia You seem to think that rapists are polite, friendly people.

"Hi, I'm going to rape you.

Would you like to shout a bit before we begin?"

    Get real.

  • King Solomon became King and was blessed by God with wisdom. Bible teaches that he was a righteous initially and later he defiled himself by the numerous women he married and following their false Gods. King Solomon became like any other perverted Guy in the Arabia by having a Harem of women. God never approved polygamy. but ppl did it and assumed it was right. In the old times Issac and Joseph were loved by God for their righteousness and for having only one wife.

  • Abraham had 2 wives. Polygamy was permitted by God, otherwise he would talk to his people about it, its a huge issue because marraige is important.

So according to Deuteronomy, Solomon pbuh is a false prophet lol

  • @oombuddah

Just because Abraham did something doesn't make it right. It doesn't mean that God wanted it to be that way either.

Look at the story of Jacob and his multiple wives. That story is in there for a reason- to show that there was more competition than love going on.

Also, Jesus stated that God's ideal union is for "two to come together as one". Just two.

  • @Aquaquia This in no way bans polygamy. This is an extremely weak argument. Why could the Holy Spirit tell Solomon (AS) to keep monogamous, and Rehoboam, and any of the other holy men?

Islam is of the position that polygamy is strongly discouraged because of the issue that Jacob had faced which is intertwined with the man's NEED to be just to all of his wives, equally.

Polygamy was in fact a practice that was done by Christians until some random dude decided to ban it.

  • @oombuddah *the polygamists came after Jacob.

  • @oombuddah Yes, but it was highly discouraged.

Oh, and this "random dude" that you're talking about happens to be Jesus Christ. And guess who Christians came after? Christ! Read the New Testament. Nowhere will you find a polygamous Christian.

  • @Aquaquia You've chosen to ignore my reply,

    but it is relevant.

You claim that polygamy was "highly discouraged."

I think that this is another addition you have made to the text.

If I am mistaken I would be glad to be corrected.

So, can you show me this "highly discouraged" in the text?

    Thanks.

  • @Aquaquia You said to oombuddah

"this "random dude" that you're talking about happens to be Jesus Christ. "

    indicating tat Jesus banned polygamy.

But this is not correct, to my knowledge.

    If Jesus really banned polygamy,

would you please show that to me in the scripture?

    Thanks.

  • @Imaginefree69 Matthew 12:5-6 states that man will be in one flesh with his wife once he is married. This excludes any other woman. You can't be one with multiple people.

  • @Aquaquia Here;s another Aquaquia addition to the scripture:

    "Just two."

  • Is everything in the bible true?

  • @Imaginefree69

    Unicorns: where?

Talking animals: only by the spirit of God, and only temporarily

Men walking on water: again, a miracle

    4-legged insects: where?

    Flat earth: where?

Humans made out of dust: not only that

600-year-old goat herder: people lived longer back then, no matter the occupation

Titanic: who said that he only had "desert shrubs" to work with?

Prince thing: you've obviously never read Revelation

  • @knightracer811 "God never approved polygamy. "

    Chapter and verse, please?

I am unaware of him ever speaking against it.

  • The story of Lilith is purely an act of fiction made by the spirit of evil to confuse people and to distort the truth. Satan's big weapon are lies and mission to confuse people's minds. HE IS THE DECEIVER , AS JESUS CALLS HIM . Jesus advises us to be on our Guard against Satan's lies. Satan has always been and is a liar , he tricked Adam and Eve.

  • yeah...the spirit of evil....you cant tell which is from spirit of evil and which isnt.

go on my profile page, i sum it all up in just a paragraph.

  • @oombuddah Actually, you can. Try reading the Bible

  • @Imaginefree69 Where?

  • @Aquaquia "Where?" "Where?" "Where?" "Where?" "Where?" "Where?" Why don't Christians read their Bibles? And more importantly, why do they imagine that they can defend and explain their Bibles without first reading them? How can they pretend to believe and "obey" the scriptures when they are ignorant of the contents? I would sincerely appreciate an explanation of this. I keep asking, but so far not one person has answered.
  • @Imaginefree69 Well, a nice way to prove your point would be to show me where exactly in the Scripture

  • @Aquaquia "show me where exactly in the Scripture"

If you're still on about being hung like a donkey

you should have your Dr. examine your memory loss.

As has been said no less than 4 times (six now, after my response to QuiteNot).

it is Ezekiel 23:20 and 21.

If you're on about something else

you need to be much more specific.

I'm always glad to show scriptural support for any assertion I make.

  • @Imaginefree69 geez, assume much......

¨You should start by reading the first line of the paragraph maybe....... it is a prophecy about 2 nations......¨

  • @QuiteNot Yes, yes, I saw your "2 nations" comment.

    Which was off-topic.

As I said. you walked in on the end of the movie

and started tossing out irrelevant opinions.

AND you couldn't see where we had posted the reference.

    Have you found that yet?

  • @Imaginefree69 Oh well sorry then, we do ALL make mistakes...

  • Comment removed

  • @Imaginefree69 I was actually wondering you found your verses for that "unicorn" comment.

Again, please excuse my delay; I was out camping for a week and a half.

  • @Aquaquia UNICORNS

Psalms 22:21 thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns

Psalms 29:6 He maketh them ...like a young unicorn

Psalms 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn

Deuteronomy 33:17 his horns are like the horns of unicorns

Job 39:9-10 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee..? Canst thou bind the unicorn ...?

Numbers 23:22 he hath ...the strength of an unicorn

Numbers 24:8 he hath ..the strength of an unicorn

Why can't Xians find things in their Bibles?

  • @Aquaquia Have you found the unicorns yet?

Have you found the lying spirits sent from god?

Have you found that insects have 6 legs?

Or have you moved on to tell your stories

to folks who have not read their Bibles?

  • @Imaginefree69 Well, first of all, I would like to apologize for my tardiness and please note that as it is getting increasingly difficult to access YouTube for me, there may be long pauses before I reply. Thank you for understanding.

Now, the comment above this one (which is the one, I assume, that you provided biblical referenced for your rather outlandish claims) had unfortunately been removed by the time I got here. So could you repeat them please?

  • @Aquaquia Yes, someone has rather childishly gone through

and marked my comments as spam,

which makes them hard to read

(you just have to click on "show").

I'm going to repost the one that you are probably referring to.

I already posted something like seven references to UNICORNS in the KJV,

so I won't repost that unless it's necessary.

    Thank you for the response,

    and herewith the repost:

  • @Aquaquia The Bible tells us

    about unicorns and talking animals

and men walking on the water and 4-legged insects

and a flat earth and humans made out of dust

and men walking on the water

and a 600 year old goat herder

building a Titanic out of desert shrubs...

At the end of the story

the Prince rides up on his White Horse,

and takes the princess away to live happily ever after.

  • If the story of Lilith is purely an act of fiction what makes you think that the old testament or Jesus story isn't?

  • His purity and Death on the cross by defeating Satan for eternity. Those who believe this are saved . Those who still cling on to the Law od MOSES , let the law save you and let the law keep you Pure once in a year. God bless you all and may the peace of Heavens be with you till the 2nd coming of Christ

  • Is the story of Noah's ark and the flood true? If so did he travel all over the globe gathering pandas and tropical birds from Japan and South America(before they were called that of coarse? and bring them back in pairs to be put on the ark? Or were they in the vicinity of the middle east and migrated to Japan and South America later? And how did he coax the lions onto the boat without them killing him?I really would like to know.

  • rainbowspite222 you never get a rational answer from these nut jobs because they are and addicted to and controlled by the most powerful and mind altering drug called religion. Paradoxically, you can not make it illegal or a different powerful mind altering drug may emerge.

What you can do is make sure that one one else gets infected, and try to sober up as many people as you can.

When a mind is on religion, it will do anything to keep doing it, including bending logic and reality.

  • @rainbowspite222 "migrated to Japan and South America later?"

A few days ago a feller tried to tell me

that there were still land bridges between the continents at that time.

That is silly, as those disappeared

long before Noah was ever thought of,

but I calculated the time needed for a pair of three-toed sloths

to creep from Turkey to the Amazon via Canada

assuming smooth land bridges, no predators, and no days off.

It would have taken them about 27 GENERATIONS

to get home from their cruise.

  • He wants people to be pure and clean minded all through out till end of time. And our Heavenly Father has accomplished that through His Holy Lamb : Jesus Christ who died for man's sins and rose from the dead on the 3rd day to Glorify God and to give THE Holy Spirit to those who LOve and Never forget Jesus

  • If there are stories where lust and evil is followed , It is the reality . It was not meant to entertain or tantalize its readers. it shows how man follow their own animalistic instincts instead of God's will. Man still sinned without having any account of their sins which they wash away every year during the religious period of their calendar. Bible clearly teaches that God wants the heart of people not their once in a year sacrifice, not their once in a year fasting and religious feast.

  • God is trying to show how man acts on his instincts in a pornographic way? Please. My God in his holy book will talk about sex and the fantasies that these evil people have? No, by God encompasses pornographic terminology.

The Israel and Judah thing was nothing to do with sex, yet your God goes out of his way to talk about something sexual when the context is something totally different.

  • Sad that you perverts see Bible in a wrong way. Bible is clearly a book of History , its not a book of laws like The Quran. The bible teaches about Good people who follow God. The Bible teaches evil people who follow their own lustful desires thereby pleasing Devil. AND FINALLY THE BIBLE TEACHES ABOUT HOW GOD SEND HIS HOLY SON TO SAVE THE PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. THE PEOPLE WHOSE NAME IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE.

  • Good people who follow God? That is most definitely not the Holy Prophets in that case.

I'm not a pervert here, I didn't write the bible and have vivid descriptions of pornographic content, so when you read the text, it makes you think about sex naturally - written pornography. God knows that evil people follow their lusts, yet when we turn to the bible, we imagine bad thoughts - Thank you God for protecting me from these evil thoughts, It's a pornographic script.

  • @oombuddah So just which passage has explicit sexual content? Huh? Which part says anything more than PG movies today? It's either "he laid with her" or "he raped her". If that makes you think of porn then your mind is hopelessly in the gutter.

  • @Aquaquia Ezekiel 23 for example? Is that like a PG movie? lol Listen to the content in the video, that's pornographic, listen to the song of songs, it's like a pornographic shakespearean poetry.

He laid with her means exactly the same as he had sex with her in the context in which it was said, thus the image it portrays is not something we want to see in a PG movie, nor the script.

  • @Aquaquia There is absolutely no need whatsoever to portray things in a full on, sexual manner.

A Christian told one of his friends in class: 'Ask the Holy Spirit if penis size matters - He'll refer you to Ezekiel 23' lol

  • @oombuddah Um, have you actually read Ezekiel 23? It by no means is glorifying sex. It's teaching a lesson. If you find such small things as "he laid with her" provocative, you might as well stop reading all together.

And yes, I am perfectly aware that laying means the same thing as having sex.

  • thank allah for being muslims !!

  • 20 and lusted after her paramours there, whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions. 21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians fondled your bosom and caressed your young breasts."

    Ezekiel 23

    lol

These women lust after men for the size of their penises. What is the Holy Spirit trying to tell you about your penis size?! Get the message! lol

  • SIZE MATTERS!

So on one hand you have materialistic societies saying that size matters, then you turn to your spiritual guidance, the thing that you depend on, lol that makes it even more emphatic that penis size matters..check this out:

When she carried on her whorings so openly and flaunted her nakedness, I turned in disgust from her, as I had turned from her sister. 19 Yet she increased her whorings, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the whore in the land of Egypt

  • Don't you guys get that those verses are a parable talking about Isreal and Judah. They came from Egypt and it is used to show that they were ont being faithful to God but going after other gods and longing to do wrong.

  • lol no, it's the text that is still going to be read. Does God present his works in a Pornographic way.

Ok, so why don't you compose a 100% hardcore pornographic script for everyone in the world for them to seek blessings from and call Holy, when your moral message is: Israel and Judah.

lol there are so many problems with this issue, I can list for a long time.

  • @oombuddah It's not telling you that size matters. It's telling you that adultery and prostitution is TERRIBLE!! Guess what happened to those sisters? They were destroyed. What exactly does that tell you, you pervert?

  • @Aquaquia

Well actually, it is supposed to be a portrayal of Israel and Judah according to some. But the funny thing is, why does it need to be portrayed like that? Why does God need to talk about donkey sized penises and a womans lust for them when He's portraying something more Holy? It personally gives me the impression that this is not what God said. In the Qur'an, there is no such references like that, God is held up in high esteem, free from talk that sounds like a romantic novel.

  • @oombuddah Well, I'm not sure which version you're reading, but my Bible has no references to any specific size. And keep in mind that it's trying to depict how shallow the women are

  • @Aquaquia Hi, yeah it's hung like a 'donkey' according to your God.

"whose members were like those of donkeys, and whose emission was like that of stallions. "

I'm sorry, but I am not surprised when muslims believe that the O.T became editted by scribes, I don't believe a God so Holy can display meaningful stories sexually. Notice how you've changed the meanings all the time.

  • @oombuddah I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend you and stuff, I just don't believe God could portray meaningful stories like a porn script.

  • @Aquaquia God called women like that 'Whores' I think there should be no problem in you calling someone a whore to their face because God is ok with the propagation of the word Whore.

  • @oombuddah Well, if they're a prostitute, then, yeah, that's what they are. It's like calling a janitor "custodian". What's the big deal?

  • @Aquaquia Hi, I don't have a problem with them being prostitutes, but I don't see why it should be different for you either to be honest brother/sister.

    1. Your God was actually trying to make the moral message about something else but the way he went about it was graphic and too sexual which is not what you would expect from a God.

    2. It makes God isolate prostitutes as though they are not human beings, but just prostitutes, something that God would use as a tool to portray His meaning.

  • @oombuddah I'm not sure what you mean by your first line, but I happen to be a virgin, soooo...?

The Bible forbids sex before marriage. And selling sex is even worse. In fact, if you think about it, modern society is pretty much the same. Random sex leads to STDs, and would you rather marry a wo/man who has saved him/herself or one who's been all over the place?

I still don't understand the "graphic" part of your statement. Can you show me the exact passage that upsets you?

  • @Aquaquia For all I know you could be reading one which shamefully tries to blot out what you believe to be God's words lol

  • @oombuddah

The problem is that many words in Hebrew, the language that the Old Testament was originally written it, have no real equivalent in English. For example, in Exodus it states that God is a "jealous" God, when in truth the Hebrew word was more along the lines of "intense love" or "faithfulness". So many words like your example may have been much more subtle in Hebrew.

  • @Aquaquia "Hebrew... no real equivalent in English."

    That's not the case here.

Old King James was doing a bit of editing here.

He used euphemisms to the point of obscuring

the meaning and intent of the Hebrew.

He does that in many places, actually.

It's a genuine problem for those who truly believe

that this book was written by god,

because the KJV simply does not report

what god was saying in these places.

  • @oombuddah (previous reply cont.)

I don't know if you speak another language fluently, but you'll understand me if you do. For example, "hate" in Chinese is much more intense than it is in English. It's TECHNICALLY the same word, but in Chinese it's more of a you-killed-my-parents-and-burned-my-home kind of hate, whereas in English it's used anywhere from an annoying mosquito to cauliflower (which I love).

  • @Aquaquia I must say, I'm really impressed with you. I am extremely sorry if I have appeared to be confrontational and stuff, I sincerely apologise, I admire your approach to these things, it's nice and again, I apologise.

  • @oombuddah Thank you.

  • @Aquaquia "my Bible has no references to any specific size"

It does, if you can understand the coy KJV censorship.

    Verses 20 and 21

The NIV is more true to the original,

"she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses. So you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when in Egypt your bosom was caressed and your young breasts fondled."

    Yikes!

  • @Aquaquia Before I begin another Bible lesson for you,

please respond to the last one.

    You claimed that

"my Bible has no references to any specific size."

    I showed you otherwise;

"she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses."

An acknowledgement would be mature and courteous.

    Thanks.

  • @Imaginefree69 You should start by reading the first line of the paragraph maybe....... it is a prophecy about 2 nations......

And to be fair you didn´t quote which Book.....Chapter.......and verse......

  • This documentary was excellent. I am coming to a realisation that if any book is the unadulterated truth. Then it must be the Bible.

I mean how cool is it, David commits adultery, then his son rapes his sister, then his brother kills his brother for raping his sister, then he drives his own Father from his own Kingdom and rapes his wives......only in the Bible.

This shows to me we are all fallen human beings and every one of us has the capability to do these acts. No one is perfect.

  • This was the message Jesus taught he said the Bible is unchanged and is unchangeable these stories are lessons to learn from. Every one of us will sin, but Jesus has paid for our few sins and we all go to heaven if we love the Bible because of God´s love for us. We are filled with love through the spirit, we do not try to sin we try to be open to love more unconditionally.

  • @QuiteNot " if any book is the unadulterated truth. Then it must be the Bible." Hahahaha!!!! The Bible is a Bronze Age book of myth. I mean, look at the ending of the story- After the unicorns and talking animals and men walking on the water and a 600 year old goat herder building a Titanic out of desert shrubs, the Prince rides up on his White Horse, rescues the princess, marries her, and takes her away to live happily ever after in his mansion in the sky. Unadulterated truth? Hahahahaha!!!
  • @Imaginefree69 Look at the history of the English Kings.....sounds very much like David´s Kingdom.

It shows that the Bible is not interested in cover ups.....to make it sound all nice and palatable and acceptable....if it happened then it is written. We are all capable of every kind of evil. Doesn´t mean we will be sent to hell for just a few sins.....

  • @QuiteNot "the Bible is not interested in cover ups"

I see what you mean, but there are plenty of lies in the book.

Such as Matthew inventing the "Massacre of the Innocents"

to fake the fulfillment of a Messianic prophecy.

  • @Imaginefree69 What do you mean by fake the fulfillment ?

I looked up the wiki entry and it seems to be very undecided if it happened or not historically. No one can say for sure. Or do you mean that it was referring to Moses not Jesus in the prophecy ?

  • @QuiteNot "What do you mean by fake the fulfillment ?" Well, what COULD I mean by it? I mean that Matthew INVENTED this mass murder which is mentioned by NO historical sources, not even another gospel. Which has NO archaeological support, no local legends, no mass graves, nothing whatsoever. Now have a look at Luke 2:21 - 42. This describes Jesus' life and place of residence from 8 days to 12 years old. No opportunities for a side trip to Egypt. Matthew was just straight-up lying.
  • @QuiteNot "I looked up the wiki entry and it seems to be very undecided if it happened or not historically. " Hardly undecided. That article works hard to show both sides of the discussion, but the bottom line is that there is not one piece of evidence to support the massacre. Not one. Not one historical account, not one legend, not one inscription or monument or tomb or painting. Nothing. Nada. No scientist or historian could read that article and conclude that it is "undecided."
  • @Imaginefree69 What about Macrobius (c. 395-423) ?

Many archaeologists have changed their minds about biblical finds, etc...extra texts, etc.... just because there is no other mention of it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Likewise with not finding the pottery of the Israelites when they were wondering in the desert for 40 years. No evidence of this either. Not sure why they assume pottery, where are they searching, does it mention pottery in the Bible to eat off ?

  • Anyway calm down, you sound aggressive. Take a break go outside and take in some fresh air, become aware of your conscience and marvel at nature ; )

  • @QuiteNot Why are you referencing an historian who lived FOUR CENTURIES after the fact? What could Macrobius possibly know about it? Your example proves my point. Not ONE historian of the day wrote about it because it didn't happen. 400 years later, after the church promoted the lie, someone sat down to talk abut it but that's completely useless as evidence. It isn't about pottery- NO evidence of ANY KIND supports the fairy tale of the Wanderings. No pottery, no brass, no middens, nothing.
  • @QuiteNot "just because there is no other mention of it doesn't mean it didn't happen. "

    Actually...

if there is NO other mention of a significant historical event

and if there is NO archaeological evidence,

no physical evidence of any kind,

then that event probably never happened.

Jesus himself said that one witness is insufficient,

and by that he meant HIS OWN testimony!

Surely his "followers" should accept his ruling?

    Don't confuse passion with aggression.

  • Well if this kind of thing was common for Herod to do............so according to you anything not written down means it didn't happen ???

  • @QuiteNot "anything not written down means it didn't happen ???"

Do you REALLY want us to keep repeating ourselves?

    "Is not!

    "Is so!"

Well, I decline to play your little game.

The science of history and Jesus himself agree on this-

a single story does NOT establish historical fact.

And since Luke's history makes Matthew's story impossible,

you have to throw out one or the other.

Your wishes do not effect reality.

  • @Imaginefree69 No of course not. I am just saying that because everything isn't recorded doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Not sure why Luke's history contradicts Matthew's story...... ? I haven't looked at this closely to be honest. I might look it up ; )

  • @QuiteNot "I might look it up ;"

    Well, that's up to you.

But you can not ethically proclaim any opinion about i without first having a look at the data.

    "Luke's history contradicts Matthew's story"

Because they both cover the same period of Jesus' life

    and they are directly contradictory.

  • @Imaginefree69 you are definitely right...

  • @QuiteNot "you didn´t quote which Book.....Chapter.......and verse......" Oh, grow up. First, if you know anything about your Bible you can easily find it. Second, I would have given you your chapter and verse, but it had already been posted. I specifically said "Verses 20 and 21" and FOUR TIMES in this conversation oobuddah and Aquaquia said "Ezekiel 23." So maybe you should not walk in at the end of the movie and start throwing comments around without knowing WTF you are talking about.
  • Song of Songs - Vaginas that taste like wine...hmmm...so, do you want your 8 year old child to read this info in your bible?

I'm sorry but there is one more that this documentary hasn't mentioned:

For all of my fellow brothers are upset with their penis size, unfortunately if you are less than average, or even average in size, the bible isn't going to console you.

You ask "does size matter" well, God the Holy Spirit you say, inspires what goes into the bible, and God makes it emphatic that

  • David PBUH - I sincerely don't believe David PBUH would commit adultery, especially like that. Adulterer + murderer.

lol incestuous rape, raping fathers wives.

David pbuh is clearly being presented as a bad father too in the bible, because look at what his sons turn into - rapists.

33:10-33:36 - why are there christians calling Muslim women oppressed because they wear a hijab? Sorry why?

I mean, the the holy people of Israel raped females!

  • lol...imagine reciting from the heart "May her breasts satisfy you at all times"

How can you read with a happy heart that Lot allowed his two daughters to get raped? Lot is a prophet but seems as though in the bible, the worst father ever.

    lol Incest dad and daugther.

Marry your rapist for life. Oh the beauty of that. one a time in the day where you set aside this time for "religious enlightenment"

  • If scribes can add things about Lilleth, what makes you think that they didn't do something more important and take away blessings of a prophet given from the descendants of Ishmael?

  • Maybe a lot of it is symbolic, maybe not, but the text is there and the text is no different to pornography.

we have Audio pornography in the form of modern day music.

We have visual pornography in the form of satanic pornographic websites.

We have written pornography in the form of the Old Testament.

Old Testament? Would the prophets and messengers of God really allow for this book to be called "heavily inspired"? I say "heavily edited" by sexually frustrated scribes.

    Period.

  • Married and noticed all my parts fit her parts. This is not rocket science. Some holes are for dumping the used food known as (shit). God gave you a brain to know right from wrong and being a mud packer is just stupid, with a man or woman. Find the right hole and procreate. God, loves all children. Read Isa 9:6 if you want to know who God is.

  • It's an interesting point of view that the Bible echoes the same sexual/sexuality issues we deal with today- I've read it, but never read into it. Thank you for posting. I love reading the comments, too- especially when they're grammatically and intellectually fractured.

  • BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG

  • This bible study principle is in the entire Bible. Genesis mentions the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. This seed is seen in all the books of the Bible. The children of man and the children of God. The New testament speaks of Jesus being the Seed that would crush the serpents head. The womans (Church) seed (Sons of God) is spoken of in Rev. Daniel 2 is the base to understand the rest of the chapters. God gives the least detail in Dan. 2 and expands in the later chapters.

  • The Rabbis that read this text obviously had all kinds of thoughts going through their minds. Like the Rabbis in the time of Jesus, they had Greek philosophy mixed with Bible truth. The Bible is self explanatory. God doesnt give all info all at once. He gives a statement and then in later verses or chapters gives more detail. In Gen. 1 He gives some information and in chapter 2 he gives details. There was no other woman. For the Bible says that Eve was the mother of ALL the living.

  • The Rabbis noticed correctly that Eve was not the first woman. But why did they fail to notice that Adam was not the first man either ? Why look to Sumer or Babylon for an age old myth ? Why not simply admit Genesis ch1 is a completely separate and altogether different account than ch2 ? The Rabbis were right when they noticed mankind (both men & women) were created simultaneously. And so Adam & Eve were not the first two people. And so we therefore need not say Cain married a sister or cousin.

  • i love reading these comments!

  • This is quite irony without sex (the passion or lust) how can u procreate, but it is consider a sin to which first door step to hell. i dun understand!

  • Well the principle is when married, you can fuck each other however many times u like whenever you like thats fine and thats even encouraged! But u cant fuck anyone who is not married to you. Its simple really, even though King James and co. violated biblical law by having sex with a married woman, dont let that confuse you. Sex with anyone but your marriage partner is not allowed.

  • salam!

  • hahahahaha................

  • easy... they fear death and need the hope.

  • really? alot of it is symbolic, and you obviously dont know SHIT about any religon....

  • THE TRUTH IS THE TEN COMMANDMENTS IS NOT YET BEEN CREATED IN THE BOOK OF GENESIS. And God allowed incest, adultery after the great flood to repopulate earth.

But God Forbedins adultery and incest during the time of Moses Because the population of the Israelites were many. And God himself Chooses Israel TO BE HIS PEOPLE.

  • This is rated TVPG and it's flagged as unsuitable for minors? WHATEver

  • the helllllll can this rubbish gospel of porn can be God's word? NO!!!!!!!!!! they neglected many stories, like judah had sex with his daughter in law and of that incestous sex two bastards were born that finally in the NT becomes great grand father of Jesus, the two distinct geneology given to jesus in the two gospels it contains, 6 bastards, well even this rubbish word BASTARD occurs three times in the so called word of god the BIBLE!!!!!!

  • Hmmmmm.

  • "the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul...Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul...only Jonathan and David knew the matter...and they kissed one another, and wept one with another...And they two made a covenant before the LORD...my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women."

    1 Samuel 18 - 20 and 2 Samuel 1

  • lol thats a gay story

  • "thats a gay story"

    It certainly looks like it.

And in 1 Samuel 20:41 it says,

After the boy had gone, David got up from the south side of the stone and bowed down before Jonathan three times..

If you were in the park and

saw two guys hiding in the trees all alone

and one of hem was repeatedly "bowing" to the other...

    what would you think?

  • u make it what u think...immoral not truth
